Legendary Planeswalker - Vivien
You may look at the top card of your library any time.
You may cast creature spells from the top of your library.
[+1]: Create a 3/3 green Beast creature token. Put your choice of a vigilance counter, a reach counter, or a trample counter on it.
[-2]: When you cast your next creature spell this turn, search your library for a creature card with lesser converted mana cost, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
-----
If you have a larger cube and still play Garruk, Primal Hunter, this is a possible swap. Future Sight type effects are always seem to be just not quite good enough. Stapled onto a planeswalker though may help. The +1 is comparable - if even better since you make your Beast situationally better. The -2 suffers from the mercenary issue where you're chaining downwards. Still for green, chaining downward may be fine as you spit out more mana elfs or utility creatures and build to a fat Craterhoof.
This card looks awesome. I’m surprised there are 25 comments on the moth but crickets in this thread. The combination of abilities seems great - making creatures while having a passive card advantage engine and the option to tutor for utility creatures like Rec Sage... Very cool.

Card seems very good. I think the lack of interest is a symptom of having an abundance of good green planeswalkers at 4/5.
That being said, is it better than both Nissa? original nissa? Garruk? I currently only run new Nissa, but they are all solid cards.
Works great with creature combo cards. IE cast Kiki-jiki, find pestermite. Cast kitchen finks, find melira etc.
Definitely testing, but I don't expect it to stick.
Her power level is very similar to Nissa, Who Shakes The World but being a card advantage engine instead of a mana engine. Very flexible in general, and very good with X creatures.
This is likely going to replace Nissa, Worldwaker for me. NWSTH fills the ramp role better than Worldwaker, and this can create bodies that you can shape to your needs based on the board state and don't require you to make a land into a creature which can create additional risk should it be destroyed. Additionally, this card gives you foresight into your upcoming draws without also revealing to your opponent (Thank goodness), potential card advantage from being able to play creatures from the top of your deck, and can turn any cast creature into a tutor to the battlefield for any lower CC creature in your deck? That's insane. This is a very pushed PW.
Depending on the other green cards you are running, being able to play additional lands from the top of your library, and play creatures can be serious card advantage as well :). I like this quite a bit, and will probably test it out. for me it would be replacing one of the 4 mana garruks.
Card looks fantastic, can't wait to play this card advantage machine. Draws loads of card, tutors creatures, and generates value. Literally perfect for ramp and midrange decks.
She looks good, to be sure. She can generate card advantage, she produces relevant 3/3 bodies with her {+1} ability, and her {-2} looks like a cool card for creature-based combo decks, fetching out multiple creatures in one shot. Warrants some testing to find out!
Liking this walker very much, certainly warrants testing. Possibly hard to find room for though, I think it will be hard to fit this in cubes smaller than 500.
It's a great card but green is rich at 5cc. I may try to find room. She does a lot of different cool things. I don't think she replaces either of the two 4cc Garruks but I think I prefer her to either of the 5cc Nissas. Green is so stacked at 5.
I've always been disappointed with Garruk, the Veil Cursed and will probably swap this for it. Green really seems to be leaning into a "ramp into a 5 drop PW" theme lately and I might as well go with it.
Seems really good to me. Excellent defensive ability, great card advantage potential, cool third ability. Likely the second-best Green 5CC Planeswalker after the complete monstrosity that is Nissa, Who Shakes the World. Seriously, have you played with that card?! I also still really like Nissa, Worldwaker and Vivien Reid (who has turned out waaay better than I expected), so likely I'll play these four in my larger cube, leaving Garruk, Primal Hunter out.
It's worth pointing out that you can live the dream in Magical Christmas Land and minus Viv, cast Kiki, go get Resto Angel and win on the spot. The likelihood of that play coming together in that specific Naya deck seems super low, but it would be pretty sweet to unlock that particular cube achievement.
Combo potential aside, I do think if you're still running Garruk, Primal Hunter in a larger cube or a lower power cube, Vivien could be a good option for that slot. I think I prefer all three 5cc Nissa options over her, though. I would probably run OG Vivien Reid over her as well just because she has a lot of great utility. This Viv is sweet, though, and I'll definitely be including her in my low power cube.
How does this card compared to 5CMC Garruk and the two 5CMC Nissas?
I like it more than 5cc Garruk for sure. I don't think I could swap her in for Nissa, Who Shakes the World. Partially because Nissa is still a fairly new edition and partially because I think that specific Nissa might just be better. The other two 5cc Nissas, though, are both good, but could be a fine swap to test this new 'walker.
Interesting that it adds the “top of library” theme im green: a good complement to Oracle of Mul Daya, Courser of Kruphix along with Sylvan Library. Plus it churns out tokens forever and can tutor as well. Unfortnately looks like she wont fit in 450 unless I remove Garruk Relentless. That alt art is awesome.
Better than Oracle and Courser though because it doesn't reveal. Thank Heavens. Revealing your upcoming draws is a drawback and I'm glad Wizards recognized that and moved away from it.

I'm not sure this is better than Worldwaker, but it's different enough from the others that I'm intrigued.

I like it more than all of them. I'm cutting Nissa, Worldwaker for it.
