None of its abilities seem that great to me, but it is doing so many different things, it might get there for some medium size cubes.
Looks to be great in wildfire decks since it has 5 toughness, and benefits from your lands in your graveyards.
For those starting to build a lands matter theme or archetype this can play a role that way as well, also plays well into tokens since you can give your team haste and +1/+0 later in the game. The Looting plays well into any spells matter theme and is a decent reanimator target since you can start digging for other spells or creatures. Maybe not the best with through the breach, but plays pretty well with sneak attack since you can ditch excess lands and useless creatures to dig for the next few creatures you want to cheat into play.
All in all does not seem to be a rockstar in any specific deck, but it seems to have useful effects for most of the red decks provided you can swallow the RRR.
I think you nailed it. It looks like a jack-of-all-trades/master-of-none type card. Several archetypes would play it, but none of them are probably happy to be playing it. I could see it in medium to large cubes.
Triple CC in the cost. No haste for itself unless you have 3RRRR. No relevant combat abilities. Late game rummaging is often unimpactful since usually red is low on cards in the late game by design. Death trigger only works in a specific type of build and I'm not sure that build wants this. Also Red's five drops are pretty stellar right now, this doesn't touch any of them.

Pretty much this. Even if it did have haste, it doesn't have flying like all the Thundermaw Hellkite variants do, plus is 2RRR. ETB / death trigger are cool, but high end red spells need a lot more immediate impact or be a recursive stat monster like Ilharg to compete these days.
