MTG Salvation

This is one of the better swamps matter cards we've seen yet. Feels too slow as a 4 cmc threat that needs additional cards to be more than a Hill Giant, but it is pretty interesting. What do y'all think?

Yeah, if you could get double triggers from fetchlands, I’d be super in on this. The damage trigger seems really nice in multiples, but restricted to swamps it’s just a mediocre mono-black payoff.

I don’t see this triggering more than a couple times in a normal game, not to mention it’s quite easy to remove.

You need to be mono black to really capitalize.

If this triggers twice, it has paid for itself, but it seems too conditional to me. Swampfall doesn't play with existing archetypes nearly as well as landfall.

This is a decent filler card.

I once theorycrafted a 666 card all black cube that this is great for, but that's not worth an awful lot.

Too slow. The 2nd part is more interesting, but black decks that run this will only be about 40% swamp or so on average, so you're only gonna get enough value from it if you are very flooded.

Pass.

I play utility land draft and squadron picks (multiple of the same card for select picks), so I'm inclined to test it out.
