This probably doesn't break into cubes smaller than 630, but I think this is a decent Shatter variant. It can be used repeatedly from the yard and synergizes with discard effects in all colors. Cool card!
Dredge one seems like a real good upside to me... I think you are underselling it. If you have a spell only for artifact destruction this seems like the best.

I think this is considerably worse than Abrade, Fiery Confluence, and Goblin Cratermaker, and that's just in Red. You'd really run this over those three and over anything in any other color as well?

Of those I’d only say this competes with abrade, as the other two are not solely artifact destruction, and I might say I like this better than abrade, as flashback on artifact removal is great. Ancient grudge would be played for sure in my cube if it’s flashback wasn’t g.
Oooooh simpydog, better than Abrade? I can't go that far. Abrade is almost 100% maindeckable, Shenanigans is not. I'm not considering this card for my 540, but I'm happy that it exists and expect to use it in a couple EDH decks.
It's a cool card but I don't know how much more artifact removal I need in red, especially one as inflexible as this. Being able to get it back is really cool and the general graveyard style synergies are nice but Dredge 1 isn't enough to excite me since its not going to get a lot of cards in the yard.
It feels too much like a sideboard card, and not even the most efficient. In a lot of games where it is live I think this maybe goes off twice, I don't think I would be too excited if this just had Flashback 1R.
This looks great to me. This allows me to topdeck a Shatter any time I want to. I'll be cubing with this. But having a powered artifact saturation certainly helps.
Huh. Red already has an excellent suite of artifact removal in my cube. I have no idea what I'd cut for this at 540 and I don't think I need another piece of artifact destruction.
EDIT: I'm still running Release the Gremlins... so maybe I do have some wiggle room.
This is a good option for powered cubes, especially for Stax lists always looking to oppress the opponent's mana. Might be too narrow for me in an unpowered setting, and has stiff competition with Abrade / Smash to Smithereens. Honestly I wish this had flashback instead of Dredge so it doesn't eat my draw.

I think when you can only hit one permanent type(that isn't creature) you need to be either brutally efficient or have some kind of backup plan. This can very easily be a dead card, artifact removal needs to something else IMO.
I like Release the Gremlins as red's 'non creature' artifact removal spell, but this might be worth a look instead. Definitely nice to be able to topdeck a Shatter when needed. In powered cubes artifact removal is very rarely dead.
I think this card should be a staple for 450+ sized powered cubes, and there's an argument even at 360. Dredge is an unbelievably powerful mechanic, and Shatter is an effect that I'm never sad to have in multiples, which this card does all by itself.
While Ancient Grudge is card advantage, green is the color that needs Shatter the least and hence decks that play Ancient Grudge often have to splash the flashback. I actually think this card is better than Grudge for this reason. And it's disgusting with any looting effect since you can just have access to Shatter whenever you want without a cost.
I'm considering playing it in unpowered 495, and the comparison to Ancient Grudge caught my eye. I'm a stickler for putting cards maximized by running both colors as a guild card, so Ancient Grudge was never going to make the cut for me in an unpowered list. This provides the reusability that I wanted out of Grudge without hogging a multicolor slot.
Alright the praise is high enough to make me challenge my initial assessment of the card. I'll probably test it out in my 540 semi-powered cube. I'm not thrilled about it, but I guess a Shatter variant isn't the most thrilling effect anyway. It does have a lot of synergy in cube and is a fairly easy card to slot in for a few drafts.
It's also a decent utility card with top-of-library effects, allowing you to bin unwanted cards and/or dump cards you want into the 'yard. It can play a (albeit distant) secondary role as a graveyard enabling card. Overall it seems like a neat card.
This is likely better than Ancient Grudge and Smash to Smithereens. But I dislike the repetitive play pattern and it can be oppressive against the artifact deck, which has not been a tier 1 here. I guess with the destruction being slow and never generating card advantage it might be fairer than I anticipate.

One of the better artifact removal spells printed for sure.
Reminds me a bit of dark blast in that respect (opressive vs GW) , but dead less often in powered cube.
