Yep. And they come in full art now! Shouldn't be hard to play T1 if all your basics are snow, specially with fetches, but you probably won't be splashing a third color.
Actual name of the card is something Frosthide, Frostskin, Frozenhide or Frozenskin Golem.
Snow basics is still a horrible design IMO, and thus I won‘t touch it. But there are now some reasonable snow cards for those who like to play with snow:
Yeah, I’m not really a fan of snow basics in cube either. In my mind it cheapens the balance these cards were designed around and contains none of the backwards compatibility or mana fixing decisions that colorless mana offers. I would offer basic Wastes long before basic snow lands, and I don’t do that either.
Snow lands are cool, and me and my playgroup will definitely be playing this and the new manland. we have snow lands, but you can just treat your basics as snow lands if you don’t want to buy them. Super happy about having a colorless beater for all theaters of aggro decks. I think I’ll play this over Lodestone.
I have been debating changing my environment to a snow environment with this set, and this card might be the card that makes me do it. A vanilla 2/2 that can be cast off of any basic is perfect! A one-drop for any mono-colored aggro deck is something I have wanted for a long long time. Does this make you want to go snow?
Between this, dead of winter, on thin ice, and the coatl, I’m tempted to swap basics. The main problem is that my budget is limited and 200+ snow lands is way more expensive than what these cards are worth to my cube. I could errata all basics, but that feels weird to me. I might ask my playgroup how they feel, but I think it’s more likely than not that I don’t include any snow cards.
I honestly don't care much for snow as a mechanic. This card is certainly neat for those that do enjoy that, but I don't think it's for me. In addition it took years (and quite a bit of money) to finally get all of my cube's basics foiled out with the versions that we wanted, so it's just not worth it to me considering the relatively small amount of cards that become cubeable with snow basics to make that change.
Oh man. Just awhile back I was talking about breaking singleton rule for a colorless 2/1. But a 2/2? Hot damn. I'm considering putting in 4-5 of this to support aggro in all colors.
Assuming snow lands aren't too expensive, I'll be changing my basics into snow basics.
Well, it would probably be a very VERY small cube. Still not sure there's enough to work with, currently.

Snow is a fun deck to build but I would never skew my entire cube structure just to include a gimmick 'sixth color' with a few parasitic payoff cards that only care abou that gimmick color. At least Eldrazi has stuff that also triggers off of 'colorless' things to give it far more gameplay. But even then, I'm not running any of them in my main cube though; only the new one.
Please don't get me wrong. I have absolutely built Snow Matters decks over the years. I own TWELVE Scrying Sheets and they are all in decks right now, I believe. 60-card casual. I'll probalby be building a new one soon from the looks of it. I wouldnt' try jamming it into an existing cube though.
But it’s not a color - it is entirely different than Wastes. These snow cards simply mean “this mana symbol must be paid for by a basic land or Frostwalk Battalion” if your basics are snow. The Cube experience is exactly the same as without snow basics, except you get to run 5-10 specific cards that have “basic lands matter” in a post-Horizons snow Cube.
I am empathetic to individuals who have sweet basics and don’t want to change to snow for aesthetic reasons, but there isn’t anything more gimmicky about it than running P3K cards, commander set cards, etc. It is much LESS gimmicky than running cards from Un-sets or Conspiracy draft matters cards. It also feels less gimmicky to me than offering Wastes in the basic land box.
I'm not going to swap to snow to support a few cards. My basics are ballin.

If you used snow-covered lands its not really gimmicky IMO as "snow" ~= "basic". Unlike Conspiracy or Unsets or even Commander cards you could actually do this in Modern.
Two easy options, neither of which force you to get rid of your awesome, painstakingly collected set of basics:
- supply a set of snow basics for whoever wants to use them; or
- do nothing. If you have snow cards in your deck, just announce before the match that your basics are snow basics. Problem solved.
A 2/2 for 1 mana that can be paid by any basic looks like a good cube card to me.
I don't really like the idea of just house ruling that normal basics = snow basics. I feel like that's the equivalent of house ruling that diamond mana = generic mana. Obviously a house rule is specific to each cube group, but that's not something I'd want to do. If I were to include all of the good snow matters cards, I'd personally need to update my lands to be snow and that's just not something I'm willing to do.
Snow cards are really cool and I wish I could just run them, but running snow basics would cost a fortune, and houseruling is annoying when you don’t have the same consistent playgroup. Scrying sheets would have already made me run snow basics if I would ever.

I've played Scrying Sheets before. It is a weaker card that the cards we got in this set. It is a very expensive and inconsistent draw engine - realistically you draw only once every three turns, assuming you play some nonbasics.
The last snow card that survived in my cube was Skred.
Agree with Metamind. We have had full snow basics without any snow interactions for a while now because all of the snow cards tricked out over the years for power reasons. Scrying Sheets became too slow for modern era Cube. Happy to see our choice of basics is relevant again!
Further temptation to add Snow Basic Lands?
