Given that the GW section of most small/mid-sized cubes is seemingly airtight, this card isn't really a consideration for those folks. That said, if someone has a larger cube with a fleshed out token theme in White/Green, this card suddenly becomes quite a bit more interesting. I've always enjoyed these effects, from Decree of Justice to White Suns Zenith to Secure the Wastes, as they often push decks with token-synergies over the top. Secure is almost certainly the best of those three due to it's efficiency, and this card has the possibility of both being even cheaper, and creating better tokens. Convoke is certainly not without it's drawbacks, given that you need creatures on the board AND they have to take a turn off of attacking (barring Vigilance) to effectively use.
So with all that said, is anybody here considering giving this card a test?
I think this is pretty bad compared to other mono colored options like Secure the Wastes / Spectral Procession / Sram’s Expertise, not to mention all the army in a cans in GW like Angel of Invention / Cloudgoat Ranger / Deranged Hermit. I don’t think this is any better than Decree of Justice, this card relies too much on Convoke.
I feel like this is a trap card. I'd much rather play something like launch the fleet. That a least wouldn't rot in my hand in an aggro deck. I just don't see myself taking the turn off atttacking and having a good chunk of extra mana. On top of that it's a guild card.
Haven't tried it but still curious, actually. I think the lifelink adds an interesting aspect to it. Overall I think my biggest reservation isn't that it isn't good, but I just like other GW cards I have right now a little more. But, since I am experimenting with a W/x lifegain theme, might be worth a shot anyway...
This never looked good to me. I've been surprised to see that it's managed to escape being a bulk mythic. Secure the Wastes seems so much better, but I'm willing to be proven wrong. It's possible I've completely underestimated convoke here. This does have something I like in that it both supports and is supported by a token theme.
My cube is such that I could easily find room for this if I had a copy, but it never seemed very interesting to me. Decree of Justice does seem like the most comparable card, but the card draw from Decree always looked better than the convoke and lifelink you get from March. I'd be interested to see people's experiences.
IMO, this card is only "over the top" in Standard because of the ability to chain an end-of-opponent's-turn March into another one on your turn. Without multiple copies in Cube to enable that line, it just doesn't interest me much.
The make or break point for any card is its average case scenario. March of the Multitudes is too feast and famine for my liking, especially compared to other army in a cans.
I'm skeptical about this card in a normal cube though.. Their list is very light on sweepers AND runs additional token support that inflates the power of the card relative to a normal cube. Their breakdown referenced a 2 draft sample and standard/limited results, which is not the best argument, but multiple people on the podcast claim cube results, which is promising

This card was totally glossed over on this forum. Did anyone try it?

Listened to the solely singleton podcast, very good analysis from justin! I've independently come to similar conclusions about archetype balance.

I'll probably test it at some point
