I'm less optimistic about this card's inclusion in cubes than most of the other cards I made threads for today, but the possibility still certainly exists. This is a weird card that in a heavy red deck can attack as a 3/3 or 4/4 for two mana relatively quickly given an efficient curve. That said, I'm not sure how the Dark Ritual ability will play out, as the cheaper your cards are to enable double-spell turns, the less exciting the mana boost is. That said, I'll play a 4/4 for 1R all day in my red decks if this functioned like that more often than not. Probably a miss, or at least for extremely large cubes, but who knows, the potential is there...thoughts?
Think it requiring a minium of 2 spells to be cast before it, before you are even content with it's output, and the ceiling is effectively a 4/4... Is too bad of a floor for a card that only supports a heavy red agro deck.
Like others here, I thought this was pretty bad at first. But recently we’ve been seeing and supporting more mono-decks, and this card has performed quite well for me on the Magic Online Cubes.

Way too much work to make the card decent.
