A green 4 drop worth discussing. I like that you can drop this on turn 3-4 and then start doubling your 3 drops if you can curve out to 5 mana. That said, a 4/4 for 4 that needs other cards and additional mana to be good may be a bit of a stretch for a green 4 drop.

Yeah, I think this needs too much to go right to be good.

When I saw this, I thought it might be cool to slot in over Surrak, the Hunt Caller, but the investment required here may not be worth the tradeoff.

It is certainly temping. I am always looking for ways to support the value archetype. It is usually highlighted by recurring nightmare or restoration angel blinkiness.

I'm pretty sure it is good enough for most cubes but don't know if it is a must play. Doubling my Eternal witness on 5 seems really nice. I wish it gave the token haste but I can't be greedy. I certainly will be loving the double deranged hermit.

Right now I've been running vizier of the menagerie in my flex 4 cmc green slot. might test but i think its about the same.

It seems alright but kinda awkward. Seems like it'll encourage some bad plays from players trying to get value out of it.

If I were running vizier of the menagerie, I'd swap this in instead in a hurry. As it is, I'm going to replace my new dino from Dominaria without much regret.

I'll have to test. I feel like they are pretty close. playing off the top of your deck is like drawing cards. But with bramble you need the cards in hand plus the extra mana to get any of the "extra value". Vizier is more splashable, fixing mana for multicoloured creature decks, but Bramble also hits a little harder.

Just have to wait and see.

I don't think it's great, but it wouldn't surprise me if it cracked some smaller lists, considering the competition at the 4cc green creature slot isn't amazing, and this card has a pretty high ceiling.
