I would run Rampant Growth and Farseek before this, not sure what cubes other than very lower powered ones would want this. Seems like one of the worst variants.

I don't know if that's actually technically better, pretty much all the time I am playing it to ramp not to hit a land drop.

Either way, I don't think Rampant Growth is that great, and if this is debatably worse then no interest.

seems alright for pauper cubes and heck in peasant cubes it could be alright but again its gopes up against Nature's lore, three visits farseek and rampant growth

With a properly built manabase, this is mostly better than rampant growth. Just include mostly tree art with non-tree art or two, and it's close to a Growth//Lay of the Land, which has relevant upside when you don't otherwise have a land drop that turn. I think you can do better in non-rarity restricted cubes though.

Can search for Gaea's Cradle which is upside I guess...

Gaea's Cradle isn't a basic land, though, last time I checked.
