Mind's Desire that you can pay the mana upfront for. Seems interesting for cubes supporting storm and kind of appealing for multiplayer cubes or anybody else looking for more shenanigans.
I like this in theory, but I don't run Storm support because I'm always worried it's a trap, so I have no plans to run this either. That said, this survives Wildfire, so there's something there, right? The old Grixis Wildfire Mind's Desire Storm deck?
I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it's super appealing dropping this guy and waiting for the 4U discount the following turn for when I'm ready to go off. One of the biggest issues with storm is being 'almost there' i.e. having enough to start to go off but either missing key pieces or putting yourself at risk for needing to hit those pieces, and this solves that to a degree by letting you choose when you want to.
On the other hand, this guy is pretty useless if I'm looking for the effect immediately, and having my 6 mana enabler die to STP is the epitome of awful. Storm is already hard enough as is to pull off, and including this guy in your deck means there's one more hurdle to overcome.
So, pass. Though it might be worth exploring if you're running a massive cube and still want to support storm, as this is better than nothing. (Any port in a storm, amirite?)

Side note: I assumed that since Ramunap Excavator that they stopped doing Maguses, but this proves otherwise. I don't know why, but it annoys me to have all the Maguses + Excavator.
TSP maguses were artifacts, Planar Chaos were lands, and FUT were enchantments. The new cycle in COMM products is instants/sorceries (maybe just sorceries). Ramunap Excavator isn't part of a cycle, and Magus of the candelabra is already the green artifact magus, so it would have been weird to name it a magus.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
I wonder if they decided that new magi only get activated abilities. They haven't done one with a static ability in quite some time.

I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.

Wow, I managed to miss the pattern here. So, OT, but what would be the most iconic old-timey green sorcery, comaprable to Wheel, Will and Mind's Desire?

What's the white one going to be? Magus of Balance? Magus of Armageddon? Magus of the Plow? Magus of God? Magus of Catastrophe?

Magus of the Balance and Magus of the Order are what I expect. And all the new magi are activated abilities because they're all sorceries. You can't really do sorceries any other way.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Card viciously fails the vindicate test, and needs a very specific deck to be good.. WHEN YOU UNTAP. Then you consider there's a somewhat decent chance it gets countered or killed, or rots in your hand cause you can't cast a six mana spell.
I feel if there is +1 strong reanimator storm enabler, I would def add that package over the Pyretic/ Desperate Ritual + Past in Flames.

This card has been on my radar for a while because of the Reanimator storm interaction:
- Necromancy / Corpse Dance / Shallow Grave along with a card like Griselbrand / Magus of the Mind as storm engines.
I feel if there is +1 strong reanimator storm enabler, I would def add that package over the Pyretic/ Desperate Ritual + Past in Flames.
