In the same vein of Black Vise and Ankh of Mishra, here's a colourless form of reach for aggressive decks (with other potential applications - your Elves are now pingers, etc). This looks very promising, and I'm getting Sulfuric Vortex vibes. Thoughts?
At first glance, not bad. At second glance, doing nothing on an empty board makes it a far cry from Sulfuric Vortex. Obviously you don't need to play bad magic and run your dudes into bigger dudes, but this seems like it could be more restrictive than expected

Yeah this is my thought. It's a card that can help you win when you're already winning or facing a close stalemate, and it's a worse darksteel relic when you're behind. No thanks.
Seems neat with exert, but the best part about vortex is it exerts pressure all by itself.
Edit: damn I thought this costed four... this is the first time I remember where I just massively misread a card... still has the same weakness but its at least noteworthy at 2
Pretty sweet with opposition. Cool synergy in some sort of convoke/token shell or maybe a bitterblossom/lingering souls token flyer thing. But probably a bit narrow and win-more in non-combo decks. Really interesting card though.
EDIT: Definitely misread the timing on this card, so not all that good with opposition.
This doesn't even work with Opposition (unless you're already winning and just alpha striking) that well unless you tap all your creatures on your own turn.

That seems like a valuable spot wasted on a card that may not help you win if you're trying to ramp.
