Smuggler's Copter 2
Artifact - Vehicle (Rare)
Flying
Whenever ~ attacks or blocks, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card.
Crew 1
3/3
It can be crewed by pretty much anything, including tokens. A 3/3 flier is solid and the optional looting effect is great. The other vehicles felt just okay for cube, but I think this one might be the first one to crack small lists. I could see this making it in all sorts of different decks.
Yeah, I'll take this over the 4 mana 5/3 for sure.

This or the battleship are the two best imo. I think skizzix is terrible. I wouldn't play a colorless 5/3 haste for four, but I would play a 3/3 flying looter for 2.
I really like that pretty much any creature can come in and get "vehicle haste" and impact the board the turn it hits. Also, blocking with this is big game. The more I think about this card the more I like it.

5/3 haste trample that attacks on his own the first time.
I like the Copter more but I'm going to try both. More discard outlets!
This seems great to test. 2 mana 3/3 looting flyer where you only have to tap 1 power might even be good enough for Rx aggro, and I love it in any deck that makes tokens.
Think I am gonna start with this and the flagship.
Seems quite good... Though there is a saturation issue I'm considering with vehicles + equipment as they compete for the same slots.
Vehicles currently have nothing to tutor/synergize, equipment has stoneforge.
Probably room for 2 @ my 485, but something I want to pay attention to.
Think there's a reasonable chance this is better than the skysoverign tho, so definitely testing.
Does this card make 1 drops more relevant? Would you consider adding more 1/1 or 1/2 blue creatures such as prophet of distortion, realmwright...not sure what other there may be.

Yeah, this card looks amazing. I love that the loot is a 'may' and you can do it on attacking and blocking. Strong, flexible cards like this that give players choices make good magic.

Nope, one card is not enough to influence that kind of change.
Seems ok, but I'm skeptical of smaller vehicles. I can foresee a lot of scenarios where this just rots on board because you can't find a creature you'd bother crewing it with. This really only seems decent in a weenie aggro deck, where stalling out, flooding, and wraths are legitimate problems and a good curve will negate the drawbacks.
Looks okay but not great. Certainly not as good as Fleetwheel Cruiser, IMO, which looks to be far and away the best vehicle so far (and has been great in testing). The problem will often be that over-crewing this vehicle results in a pretty minor bonus in terms of additional pressure, and aggro decks aren't overloaded with 1-power bodies. This will be a nice vehicle to be turned on by utility creatures and mana dorks (especially in decks that also want the discard outlets), but it may prove to be too narrow. If it had 4 power and Crew 2 it would've been amazing. I'll test it and see, but I'm skeptical.
There will definitely be instances of over-crewing, but I feel like this will be mitigated significantly by being able to use summoning sick creatures. I haven't actually tested any of these though.
I've been testing the other two good vehicles since they've been spoiled. The Cruiser is great. The Airship is pretty medium.
I don't think this will be bad. Just that the bonus will often be underwhelming when it's over-crewed, for an aggro deck. And I'm not sure what a non-aggro deck would look like that would want to run this card. Testing will help show me how it works.
But I like the idea of my Jackal Pups being able to fly in for 3 and loot away extra lands, so I will be testing this out. Just trying to reign in the expectations after seeing how important getting exact crew values has been on the other two vehicles I've been testing. Maybe it won't matter as much on this one because of the low cost and the value of the loot trigger.
I think the decks that want this most are non-red aggressive / token decks that need the reach to close out the game. This card is essentially a Bonesplitter / Mask of Memory / Neurok Hoversail in one convenient package. The problem with vehicles though is that it does nothing to buff bigger creatures, but I can see the flying on this vehicle to be the key to finishing off planeswalkers / opponents.
