Off the top of my head I think feldon has the most potential power of any 5- creature in the cube.
Feldon hurling bombs every turn can race board states that a 3 mana creature has no business racing and as ELPsteel says, even him recurring a utility creature is still pretty strong.
The RR restricts his playability a fair bit, but if the mana is there, the card is very very good.
I like him quite a bit more than alesha, another commonly played 3 mana card.
Has anybody considered cutting Fire Imp for this guy? Not that Fire Imp was on my chopping block, but I do feel that it hasn't aged well. Magus of the Wheel has a much more solid body and can generate much more card advantage.
I am coming in to bat for Feldon. If I have cast him and untapped with him, jeeeeeeez. I had time to assemble a Survival/Feldon/Thrag type deal once and yeah, that was joyous.
Also, I will include Magus for Guttersnipe or Prophetic Flamer as I still run both of those as a test to see what is up.
This card was my cut to make room for Volatile Chimera. It was just a red Nessian Courser too much of the time, which for quite some time was actually good enough but not anymore IMHO. Red 3s are officially stacked now.
The recently spoiled Queen Kayla bin-Kroog got me thinking about Magus of the Wheel again. Narset / Leovold / Hullbreacher / Sheoldred didn't exist when I tested it, but this is one of the better / cheaper draw 7s after OG Timetwister / Wheel of Fortune, especially if budget is a consideration. I might re-test Magus now that I have more things to combo with this.
The easiest comparison is probably Birgi, God of Storytelling, which you can make an argument that this is a stronger Birgi for a storm deck and I probably will agree with you.
I recently added Magus of the Order and I was fairly happy with the results. I be interested to hear about this.

I just realized there is a Magus of the Windfall that is repeatable. - Jace's Archivist
