I had a game in legacy against this guy while my opponent was on GW depths and he was just a beating.
This isn't like Mother of Runes where you need to wait a turn to activate/ can play around by tapping her down with Pestermite. If he resolves midgame in a midrange deck, don't expect any of your removal spells to work. Trading a land for a removal spell is always worth it.

I recently cut safekeeper to squeeze in another "elf" (pilgrim) but if/when it doesn't pan out I can definitly see safekeeper making it back in.
Usually the threat of activation is enough to throw your opponent way off plan.
Definitly worth testing out if you think it looks at all good. Does work and creates an interesting tension that not alot of 1 drops can.
It's also a card that's always ticking up in value as we get more effects that care about lands hitting the graveyard or leaving play.
Gotta run OG art
I had An offer you cannot refuse / Spellskite in my cube to protect my combo/ reanimator targets for a while, but I think this might be worthwhile. I think having 1 of these style of effects in your cube is great.

I cooled very quickly on An Offer you Can't Refuse. I'd say this is better than Spellskite in a green deck.
It's hard to value just how much it throws your plans off untill you play against one. Spellskite and AOYCR stop 1 spell, if your opponent has swords and path you will lose your creatures. They could have 3 removal spells in hand and safekeeper just needs to sac 1 land a turn to keep your threat on board, and that's assuming your opponent is casting the spells knowing you will sac the land, in many situations they will choose to do other things rather than just burning their removal spells.
Game 2 - The opponent played Sylvan Safekeeper turn 4 and it made it so that his Knight of the Reliquary (and Marit Liege) were essentially immune to my removal as his curve stops at 4.
Game 3 - The opponent played a Sylvan Safekeeper on turn 1. He had a turn 3 Knight of the Reliquery, which allows him to essentially Daze your removal spells.
I could see this as an incredibly strong card for aggressive decks that curve stops at 3-4 and this is their turn 1 play, which could be used to protect threats such as Dark Confidant, Goblin Rabblemaster, Tireless Tracker, Hullbreacher.
I could also see this on the other extreme to protect reanimator threats.
This might be from my experience from Legacy, but I been instructed that doing something on turn 1 is essential - whether is Ponder/ Mana Dork/ Removal/ Vial- 1-drop etc.
