I did cut it late going to 330. It's not guaranteed value and needs to leave play and have targets, so it's not always a winner. It would be back in at 360 though. It's a pretty unique bunch of randomness on one card.

So how is reveillark holding up? I picked on up and have slotted it in to see how it goes but I'm interested to know if some of the newer 5 drops edge it out.

Yeah it sucks because it being a 5 means I can't play a lot of the other newer cool 5s, but Reveillark is sweet for so many reasons. Recursion engine, splashable, fine threat on its own, works well with a lot of the stuff printed in the last 5 years. Still a fan, in a big way.

Yeah, I mean, they are never going to stop printing good two power creatures so this guy is just going to get better.

Yup. As the powerlevel of creatures goes up, 'Lark will just keep getting better.

Reveillark is awesome. Like Life from the Loam, Land Tax, Crucible of Worlds, and other cards, it's sort of the perfect cube card because it encourages creative deckbuilding. Lots of new and interesting interactions with this card show up with most new additions to the cube.

Much more lukewarm on the Lark than others here. It has a weak hold on the 4th white 5-drop slot in my 450 unpowered behind Avacyn, Angel of Invention, and Baneslayer Angel. I recognize the synergies that are covered at length here but in practice Lark hasn't lived up to the hype. It has a very unique effect and because I appreciate that it has stayed despite its lack of impact among my playgroup.

Reveillark has better things to recur, so it got better with time relative to its old self, but the competition is much stronger and I think it got worse in relation to them. I agree that the saving grace is its uniqueness.

Glad to hear it was a good inclusion. Unfortunately it was countered both times I tried to cast it in my last draft, but it theoretically had good targets both times. I have high hopes.
