I am seriously considering backing these, mostly cause I love the idea of being able to put packs together at home while watching TV and avoid that annoying step of draft prep at the actual draft.
From your review - "I’m a little concerned about the strength of the parts of these packs that would get folded back and forth a lot – the tiny flaps underneath of the large ones. These give the pack some rigidity while it’s empty and closed, like a playing card box, but also kind of just get in the way while trying to slide cards out. I think the top set of these is probably unnecessary." This is my biggest concern as well. Any update after using them a few more times?
I guess they are only $30 for a draft set, so it's not like you're out a lot if they end up only lasting a few dozen drafts.
I signed up for the beta test, but wasn't a chosen one. I think these are a cool idea, but ultimately not something I need. The idea of prepping packs while watching TV prior to the draft is nice, but we normally do more than one draft during a cube night session and I can't see using these for each draft. It feels cumbersome to pull 15 cards, place them in these packs, and then immediately pull them back out to draft.
