I hadn't really heard much about Heirloom Blade until looking at some recent decks and it's performed quite well, finding that it's not hard to find synergies with it.
Interesting analysis on Heirloom Blade, but personally I think it would be a nightmare considering older cards do not have updated creature types and creature types do get updated once in a while.
