Trivia
* Just Missed: Tidehollow Sculler (1.4) and Ashen Rider (1.2)
* Like all other guilds except one, the best card remains the same: Vindicate. This time, Lingering Souls manages to tie with Sorin, Lord of Innistrad at 2nd place.
* Three new Orzhov cards enter the ranking: #4 Sorin, Solemn Visitor; #6 Magister of Worth; and #8 Utter End. The ones to leave the ranking where former #5 Tidehollow Sculler, #7 Stillmoon Cavalier and #10 Athreos, God of Passage (this one didn't even got a single vote). Unburial Rites falls 3 positions (from #4 to #7), just as much as Obzedat, Ghost Council (#7 to #10).
* 19 different Orzhov cards received votes.
Trivia
* Just Missed: no other card got really close to have a chance of getting into the ranking; the closest was Dreg Mangler (0.4).
* Pernicious Deed not only stays as the 1st card, it is the only one with a perfect score among the guilds. In fact, the whole Top 5 remains the same as last year's.
* Golgari gets only one new card, #7 Garruk, Apex Predator. Former #10 Spiritmonger leaves the ranking, and Vraska the Unseen falls 2 positions (#6 to #8); overall, this was one of the guilds to change less.
* 18 different Golgari cards received votes.
Trivia
* Just Missed: Prime Speaker Zegana (1.2), Coiling Oracle (0.6)
* Edric, Spymaster of Trest remains at first place. Trygon Predator gets the second place from Mystic Snake, with Kiora staying at 3rd, but those three got very close votes and could have ended up in any order.
* The one new card is #5 Sagu Mauler, while former #10 Progenitor Mimic leaves the ranking.
* 17 different Simic cards received votes.
Trivia
* Just Missed: like in Golgari, no card got good enough votes to have even a chance of entering the ranking; the highest was Turn // Burn (0.3).
* Izzet was the only guild to get a new first place this year: Dack Fayden! Former #1 and #2 Ral Zarek and Izzet Charm are now #2 and #3, respectively; and then comes the second new Izzet card, new #4 Dack's Duplicate.
* With a new #1, most Izzet cards get down one position or more, but even then Steam Augury's falling five positions is worthy of note - it went from #5 to #10. Former #8 Turn // Burn and #10 Jilt are the ones to leave the ranking (Jilt didn't even get any votes).
* 17 different Izzet cards received votes.
Trivia
* Just Missed: Gisela, Blade of Goldnight (0.8)
* Just like the Golgari, Boros keeps the same Top 5 it had last year. While Ajani Vengeant is still the top card, Figure of Destiny gets the best second place score among all the guilds.
* No new card enters the Boros ranking this year; the one that wasn't there is just Iroas, God of Victory at #10, replacing former #9 Duergar Hedge-Mage. Duergar was tied at #9 with Chained to the Rocks in 2014, so it was technically at the last place; Chained had a better fate, going 3 places up in the ranking, to the #6 place. Otherwise, the Boros ranking remains mostly the same as last year.
* 19 different Boros cards received votes.

I like this voting, because I thought a few 2 color guilds were a lot deeper than they really were.
Only card I was surprised about was Sorin, Solemn Visitor. I honestly liked Utter End better, and felt there was a huge drop from Orzohv's top 3, but I guess I'll try the new sorin out.
Yep. I think Sorin, Solemn Visitor is the only card that really surprised me as well. I'm pretty sure seeing other votes and these results has convinced me to give him a shot over Utter End as my #5 Orzhov slot.
Interesting I'm the only one that thinks that lingering souls is a higher pick than vindicate. Very confident about my ranking. Both are awesome cards, but I didn't think the choice was very close.
They are close in power level to each other, but lingering souls is easier to cast and has a higher upside when drafted around (IMO).
Curious if more people agree with me in a few years when the historical appreciation for vindicate relative to souls wears off a bit.
This is a volatile format where your opponent can pressure you from every possible angle, and Vindicate is an answer to anything. My appreciation for Vindicate isn't based on historical significance, but rooted in cube performance. I like Souls a lot, but half the voters (myself included) ranked it 3rd in the guild. Probably the strongest top-3 card section in any of the guilds.
I would expect vindicate to be better in most high powered lists for reasons wtwlf stated. But they are likely very close. In my list, lingering souls is better as I run no walkers nor do I run many must-answer artifacts and enchantments. You might even be able to argue mortify is better in my list due to the instant speed. Though that's very debatable.
