I'm probably the huge minority, but I like the stamped foils. It's neat to play the cube and be able to see how far back the card was printed and how it compares to cards today. A little history date, if you will.
I picked up a few not as cool as judge bolt things up at GP: Oakland, namely an APC Foil Pernicious Deed, Pack foil Sorin LoI and judge Maze of Ith. Also got some cube cards signed by Terese Nielsen, including my altered Force of Will.

Oh, alright. Also got some nice foils for legacy/modern infect.
Edit: totally forgot the deed, haha.
Crazy! I always forget how many great cards she has done. The gold sharpie is so nice. She is definitely one of the artists on my list that I hope comes to the West Coast.

Nielsen is based in Nevada if I remember correctly, so she's fairly available for West Coast events. She also signs by mail (fairly quickly on average) if you weren't aware.

Yeah, she has one of the best turnaround times for magic signings through the mail. I also picked up a set of 5 guru land prints for $40, so I gotta find a nice place for those too.
As earlier this week it wss -15 degrees Fahrenheit, I really appreciate that winter city of brass.
Thanks man. I should mention, I did this card with the intention of it having match my Shocklands done by Cardkitty as best as possible. It's very hard to imitate their style.
Oh, I revised the City of Brass, because I didn't like the fade to black for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that the rest of the card was so light in colour. Anyway, it doesn't match with my Cardkitty shocks now, but I think it looks better imo (my wife liked the first version better though).
So thats really cool and I'm right behind you but.... Why would you get these?
I suppose it's the "When in Rome" thing and when living in Portland Irony reigns supreme. It's strange, but there are a few very rabid people out there who want half art Zendikar lands.
When this idiocy first started it took me almost a year buying out every Plains that popped up online to complete my mono-white EDH deck.
Wow nice. Looks like it's in pretty good condition. When I was first getting serious about playing EDH, my friend offered to sell me his Legends Library, along with some other cards, for $40. His has a literal piece missing out of the top. Declined the offer, and then took a while to finally get a 4th edition one. The Legends library got replaced in his cube with the Commander's Arsenal version.
