Above is my deck. My Sb is meta dependent (Ratchet Bomb?) Against GR, I would do the following if I was going aggro:
-2 UC
-2 Pharika's Cure
+4 Lifebane Zombie
If I was to go the control route, it would be something like this:
-1 UC
-2 Pharika's Cure
-4 Pack Rat
+3 Duress
+4 Lifebane Zombie
Cure and UC are the weakest cards against RG I feel.

Most lists use Bile instead of UC... but I agree. The only difference in my deck: I only run x3 zombies. I bring a pithing needle instead of the fourth zombie. Also bring in doomblade.
I don't ever take out all of the specters. Nothing like taking a topdeck land, then playing some of their *****, if you can get it to stick around for 2x turns. That's why I like Specter; it commands a removal spell, and that's one less for something else

Duxx, pharika's cure is really bad right now. The only thing it hits in the mirror is a naked pack rat. It hits nothing in g/r monsters ( besides the mana dorks, but so does bile blight) and it is nit good vs mono blue. Blight is better to get multiple creatures. The cure should be blight blight for sure.

OK, I can officially change my list. I got my 4 Blight's in the mail yesterday. I haven't opened any packs in 4 weeks

Playing against Esper. Here is my opening hand:
4 swamp
1 Temple
1 Thoughtseize
1 Hero's Downfall
I'm on the draw. Mulligan or keep?
Mulligan. A 6 card hand is almost guaranteed to be better than that. Since you know you're up against Esper, I'm assuming this is a postboard game, in which case they could have Thoughtseize (does Esper even side in Thoughtseize against us?) to take your Thoughtseize or double BBoV or something. Also, Esper, being a dedicated control deck, has a better late game than we do, so even if their draw wasn't great, they'll still be in the driver's seat.
UPDATE: I lied in my original post. I will actually occasionally bring in duress VS GRx monsters... if I suspect they are PWer heavy (the lists that include chandra/Garruck).
If they are running garruck and I know it... I will run +2 duress.
Quite honestly he was on the pack rat plan, BUT making 4 rats by turn four with a Mutavault up is pretty lucky. But that's what this thread has been all about. Free wins through pack rat. Getting online before they can even get going. Ax can you get the second match on the thread?
Just saw game 2. The jund player had to mulligan but again he started with pact rat and the jund player had to waste his turn using dreadbore. The follow up play was lifebane and then he thoughtseized the garruk away.
Bottom line ax you need to leave those pact rats in I think.
Rats are the bomb.
I couldn't tell what the 5th cards was
I know the 2nd game was over early, but I don't think a Thoughtseize late game is that bad of a play if your opponent has at least 2 cards in hand.

Here is the final game. It's against Esper.
Duress is huge
Zombies do their share also.....
Trying to comprehend why Patty didn't use the Last Breath on the attacking Mutavault...
It seems like he sided out the Rats as we didn't see any G2 or 3
And Nightveil FTW!
We need to find his decklist and try to figure out what was sided in.

I think I would mulligan that hand. I think that hand is way to slow against Esper. We cant really win against them without pressure.
