The first one is when Alara Reborn is out. Now, I read the rules on what happen with cascade, but a friend didn't. So we play for the 1st. Jund v. Jund. I go BBE into Finks. Swing three. He goes play his bloodbraid elf and flips up Firespout. I stare in silent. Then fell over laughing bc of what he did.
2nd one. I was still early Jund w/ main Chameleon against a bad 5cc player. I had the game on board. Hemo Cryptic Command. He pass, I play Chameleon Colossus. He taps out for Broodmate Dragon. I proceed to Terminate his token. His life 8. My turn I activated Treetop and swung with both. Facepalm. Ok so I lost a land. His turn Cruel. I lost the game, but won the match.
Sacrificing all your lands and NOT giving all your creatures haste is generally considered unimpressive. Sacrificing all your lands and then attacking for 10-16 is generally considered pretty good. You should cast Bushwacker after the Summons.
I went to my first PTQ this past Saturday, and I got stomped horribly by misfortune and terrible misplays; perhaps my worst play of the day (fortunately this was in a match that didn't even matter anymore, and I was probably really fatigued) was throwing a Spreading Seas on an Arid Mesa, without another one in my hand.
Wait, so how does the turn 3 win work then?
If you have to play summons first then you can only sac 1 land for it if you want enough for bushwacker, and that's not going to equal anywhere even close to 10 damage.
I'm supremely confused now. haha
Someone can PM me instead of de-railing this thread.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Sorry for the mixup people. haha
*embarrassment* hahaha
I was playing UW Control against Polymorph that had gone off into Emerakul when I played Jace 2.0, he responds with an "into the roil"
I go, "So you let Jace resolve?"
him: "yes now I am bouncing him"
me:"ok, but first I bounce your Emerakul"
him:" you cant do that! this is an instant!"
After a few minutes of "discussion" about priority and how stuff like that works he gets frustrated and says, whatever, I will negate him then! I then said he couldn't negate a permanent, he let Jace resolve a long time ago. He lost and got really mad about the whole thing (I had negate + mana open anyways)
I recently played someone who bounced my Kor Skyfisher back to my hand with Jace 2.0. What he forgot was that his other Jace 2.0 was O-Ringed. I returned Kor Skyfisher to the battlefield, returned O-Ring to my hand, and blew up both of his Jace 2.0. Boy, was he pissed.
during a two headed giant game, my opponent has aura gnarlid active on the board...i have no relevant cards in hand except o-ring...my teammate has one blue open and spell pierce in hand...my opponent casts canopy cover, with one white open....and my teammate just passes priority...i just gape in disbelief...to make matters worse my opponent then casts hyena umbra on aura gnarlid...to which my teammate spell pierces it...i ask why he didn't counter canopy cover, he replies: "I didn't have the mana at the time...." WTF?!?!?!

You're supposed to cast bushwacker first.
