I play GW Eldrazi Ramp with Awakening Zone and other tokens.
After about 50 matches against Jund players with boosters on the line about 50% of them (no joke) will try to Maelstrom Pulse a drone token at least once during the match.
Feeds into my thesis that playing Jund gives you pimples and makes you fat and lazy.
I am playing Time Sieve Combo, my opponent is playing UW Control. I have had a shennanigans hand, playing 4 cantrips and a howling mine, but only 4 mana sources. I have a Time Warp and an Open the Vaults in hand. He knows I have the Timewarp in hand because I tried to play it with four mana.
It is Turn 6, Game 3.
Him: Spreading Seas your Swamp. Play land, tap out to play Jace tMS, brainstorm, go.
Me: Draw two cards -> play a land -> COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOO
After the game, he says
"Man, you got really lucky. I had three negates in hand when you comboed. Too bad I was tapped out, yeah?"
"How many did you have before Jace's brainstorm?" I ask.
"All three of them."
I remember at a PTQ I was playing Mono-black vamps against UWr control and was staring down an Ajani Vengeant. I was so stuck on drawing a Vampire Hexmage that I completely forgot to attack the planeswalker!
I was playing a Brilliant Ultimatum deck. He has Memory Erosion in play. I have an Esper Charm in my hand, but forget to use it. Jace's Brainstorm to put 2 Emrakuls on top of my deck. I cast Brilliant Ultimatum. I am an idiot, but I hit 2 Baneslayers and a Brilliant Ultimatum anyway, so it was fine. Could have been disastrous.
Opponent earthquaked the exact amount to kill two of my creatures (I can't remember which ones), so I cracked an arid mesa for a plains and played harm's way to save them both. Then, at the end of his turn, I say "lightning bolt" and drop a burst lightning into my graveyard.
I did not have the mana to cast any spell (forgot I had already used the mesa for harm's way), and even if I did, I said lightning bolt (which was in my hand) and showed him a burst lightning.
Still won the game. Yep. I'm that good.
Pretty sure that's cheating and foul conduct. Don't try to pull a stunt like that a big event, and definitely don't brag about it.
If you don't mind going back a few years, to Kami-Rav standard, I was testing an experimental hunted creature deck that ran Leyline of Singularity at an FNM. In round 1, I didn't have the leyline in play, but decided to play a hunted phantasm anyway to fill up my board until I could play it next turn or so. My opponent then dropped Coat of Arms and murdered me with an army of 5/5 goblins. Boy did I lose.
I'm playing R/B Aggro.
When I got into negative life, I played Manabarbs
He was at 12 life.
I was hoping to draw some kind of burn, and get him down low enough to the point where he couldnt play the spell he needed to remove the Persecutor.
I end up drawing land after land after land, and he draws no answers for the situation either.
After about 6 turns each of nothing, he draws, fist pumps and plays Jace, The Mindsculptor.
I offer my hand in concession, knowing her can bounce his Persecutor.
He takes my concession, and then I realize that not only had I already Pithing Needle'd Jace, but he would have had two in play (killing each other).
The judge watching the game said "Nice Jedi Mind Trick", and I felt like an idiot!

I didn't "pull" anything. It was an accident. I didn't brag either, I was mocking myself for being such a clumsy player. Sorry if I didn't put enough sarcasm in there.
Guy 1 attacks with leech (Guy 2 has an open red)

Actually, that wins you the game.

~Intelligence is Bliss; Ignorance is Denial.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
At Gameday I was playing Naya Allies against Jund.
I was stuck at two land the entire game and had a Harabaz Druid in play with 4 other allies enabling me to drop 2 allies per turn. He destroyed several allies but never the one that allowed me to continue getting ally triggers and win the game. As soon as I won his friend hit him and asked why he didn't kill the obvious target after several turns of me having it out. His reply was he had never played against an ally deck before and didn't know what do to.
Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.

Ok this was game three of a match at fnm and I was three life he was at 2 and I had just passed turn with only terminate in hand...I had a hell's thunder in grave so I had won the game...well so I thought...he said "well I've got this last chance..hellspark elemental?" And I jump the gun, terminate it and proceeds to unearth it and swing for the win...I honestly wanted to die.

Cruel(me) Vs Chapin Control(home dude) at the Richmond 5k, home dude was a terrible player but not as bad as me.
it was 1-0 me....game 2 lasted forever because the kid didnt know how to play...he lays a mesa and I asked why do you play mesa? and he was like for the single bolt in my deck....he passes turn with no threats i have board control and had the game won, I honestly forget the exact situation but i checked his graveyard and saw 4 cancels, so i was like thought hemorrhage lightning bolt which was absolutely retarded...he reveals a negate and martial coupe...next turn I would have crueled for game... if I had named negate, he didnt have bolts at all...next turn he martial couped for 11, and got there in 5 turns...I drawed to a terrible player and will never forget that game...like he was so bad that I wanted to play the deck for him but im an idiot.
i would have been 3-0 but instead i goto loser bracket and face a bunch of anti control homebrews and ended up going 2-4-1 drop
My opponent with with Three life, and me with Mana barbs on the field, Declares attack with Putrid Leech, I block with my 4/4 Blademaster, he pays 2 life to pump the leech, then he taps a red to bolt my Blademaster. He ends up Dying. Man you got to love suicidal stupidity.

I play neat decks but not very well.
If it's done in response to them paying for the pumping, that works. Just messing up the timing. That's not a terrible play, just a mistimed play.

I get distracted by a bird flying past the window which made me forget i dropped land.
I went on and played my 4th land casting Goblin Ruinblaster then went Do'h JUUUDDDGE.
Another one i saw was Bloodbraid cascading into Thrinax. Thrinax gets countered by Summoner's Bane and Jund player attacks with bloodbraid.
I'm playing R/B Aggro.

No, because the poster was the controller of Spiteful Visions, he would draw the card, which would then loop into him decking himself.
