I know there's a thread for this deck concept already, but it's so muddled with different takes on mana bases that I thought it would be useful to have one thread focusing on two different takes. I cannot decide which is more viable. I'll make two different posts for each deck and how they did in 5 games each.
(The idea is to produce creature tokens from noncreature cards, then cast Polymorph on one to get Progenitus onto the battlefield.)
EDIT: After testing the UR version, I've realized it is no good, at all. If this deck is going to work, the WU is the way to go.
The deck has to be played heavily control until Polymorph can bring out Progenitus.
Match 1 - Jund Ramp
Round 1: Not much happened. Planar Cleansing destroyed all his elves by turn 6, then Martial Coup destroyed the new ones and put 5 tokens on the battlefield on turn 7. His Hellkite ended up destorying my tokens and killing me.
Round 2: Added Flashfreeze and Essence Scatter in place of Negate and Path to Exile. This time I started with Spectral Procession and Polymorph in my hand. Progenitus on turn 4 won the game for me.
Round 3: Same thing.
Match 2 - RGB Bloodbraid
Game 1: I stalled as much as possible with Silence and counters. I just never saw Polymorph and his placeswalkers overtook me.
Game 2: Same sideboarding as before - standard RG stuff. Never saw Polymorph again, but won with heavy control and constant attacks from spirit tokens.
Game 3: Close one. I had hit him once with Progenitus and had tapped his creatures and returned Sarkhan to his hand with Cryptic Command, but Sarkhan's ability untaps creatures, so he ended up winning this one.
Match 3 - RG Goblins
Round 1: Never got Polymorph, but Martial Coup (two of them, one X = 5 and one X = 4) won me the game.
Round 2: Same thing happened: no Polymorph, but Martial Coup wins.
Match 4 - Elementals
Round 1: Progenitus on turn 4 leads to a quick win.
Round 2: No Polymorph, but tokens and control win.
Match 5 - RGB Goblins
Round 1: Quick Progenitus = quick win.
Round 2: I started with terrible lands. It took several turns before I even got my third land. He ended up damaging me too much before I could get enough mana to put tokens into play.
Round 3: I got a Polymorph early but Blightnings disrupted my token generation and I ended up losing.
So all in all this deck went 8-5, but many losses resulted from poor first-hand draws.
General comments: Mulligans are good. Ponder is good. Maybe we can cut it down to only 2 or 3 Martial Coup? It did win me the game a few times, but it's really only useful late-game if Polymorph doesn't work out.
U/W Is obviously the way to go. I played the deck in three tournaments, with three Top 8's (two FNM's and a Mox Standard Tournament, where there were about 34 players). The U/W version has a better plan B.

I definitely agree. I just realized this as I was playing the UR version.
ive played and tested both the UW and UR versions of Polymorph, and out of those 2, the UW version was much more consistant. but i found both lists had too few token producers.
and now, ive just put together a Bant version, that is far more consistant, and it has more token producers, plus a stronger alternate win con.

1WB - Instant
A train leaves boston at 9:00 am traveling west at 63.5 mph...
... If you can determine, without the use of a calculator, what approximate longitude and lattitude the 2 trains will meet at in the midwest put a 1/1 Freaking Genius token into play under your control."
How hard do we have to work now a days for a little value in this game? ;p
I've never found myself short of tokens. If anything, it's a lack of Polymorph.
I kind of wanted to stay away from a 3-color mana base, but if you're concerned about token production, try Elspeth or Beckon Apparition.
suit yourself, im not going to make you go into 3 colors, but i find it more consistant. im going to be playing it tomorrow night. i usually play Midrange Bant, so i have everything for the manabase already.
as for elspeth, i dont have any, and beckon apparition works i guess. to each his own.

i took my Bant version to my Monday Night Magic, and took 5th place out of 22 players. i went 3-1 with my only loss (0-2) to Grixis Fae. all my other matches were 2-0.

Token Producers:
Garruk Wildspeaker
Flurry of Wings
Martial Coup
Spectral Procession
Martial Coup along side Garruk is fantastic, thus being the stronger alternate win con.
the deck practically built itself.
