The idea started as R/W Soldiers with Giants (using Rise of the Hobgoblins & Hearthfire Hobgoblin for red splash plus Brion Stoutarm & Cloudgoat Ranger for the R/W Giant Land).
It looks like you have no mana problems so play vengeant. Vengeant is a huge target if the opponent can't kill you in time for the final. Not many people can deal with all their lands being destroyed. He also acts a spot removal and more reach.
Run some red sweepers and make it more R/W oriented. Play path or Harm's way. I would play harm's way as it can be used as pseudo burn. There may be some Changelings you could look at.
I quite like the use of giants with ampitheatre, but the real choice facing you is whether you want to run a boros decks wins style deck(lots of cheap efficient threats) or if you want to go for a more midrange boros beats style of deck. Both are doable, your more towards the midrange at the moment with choices like spitemare, the liege and rise of the hobgoblins.
I'd probably be more inclined towards a faster deck possibly using Battlegate Mimic and Duergar Hedge-Mage(it's pretty good in the current standard dealing with bitterblossoms, honor the pures, howling mines/font of mythos, oblivion ring, any esper creatures etc.). I'd probably cut the Spitemares, lieges, rise of the hobgoblins and the intimidation bolts(put them in sideboard against other more aggro decks), and put in 4 Mimics, 4 Duergar Hedge-Mage and 4 Harm's Way's, you could also consider running Flame Javelin's and putting the Hedge-Mage's in sideboard.
Changing to this more cheap and aggro style would probably be a better option, particularly if you want to keep only running 22 lands, otherwise if you want to keep something similar to you current configeration i'd up the land count to 24.
4 Ancient Amphitheater
4 Rugged Prairie
4 Reflecting Pool
5 Plains
5 Mountain
4 Duergar Assailant [or]
4 Veteran Armorsmith
3 Brion Stoutarm
4 Hearthfire Hobgoblin
3 Veteran Swordsmith
3 Cloudgoat Ranger
2 Captain of the Watch
4 Honor of the Pure
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Intimidation Bolt
3 Rise of the Hobgoblins
It then evolved to just aggro with Giants...here is my rough idea. Is it better?
4 Ancient Amphitheater
4 Rugged Prairie
4 Reflecting Pool
5 Plains
5 Mountain
4 Figure of Destiny
4 Cerodon Yearling
3 Brion Stoutarm
4 Hearthfire Hobgoblin
4 Spitemare
3 Cloudgoat Ranger
2 Balefire Liege
4 Honor of the Pure

Mana curve needs fixing in my opinion. Maybe toss Stun Sniper in there? Other cards that look interesting:
- Ajani Vengeant
- Ajani Goldmane
- Harm's Way
- Waves of Aggression
- Moonhold
- Silence
- Glory of Warfare
- Fight to the Death

Also added the original RW Soldier deck.

I may give the Soldier version a try in extended...Boros Swiftblade, Boros Recruit, and Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran fit so well...
EDIT-Extended RW Soldiers up and running.
