Path sucks so hard in this deck that it shouldn't even be considered as an option.
I think it's a card that maintains it value over all matchups game 1 (the rfg clause does defeat persistent creatures). Which of course then you can side out for more useful cards after that. But Pathing certain targets of interest seem pretty good, land or no. Even at Regionals, I found the land I gave didn't really tilt the game in their favor at all, but I'm guessing that might just be my experience.
Terror seems so bad when I think about Chameleon Colossus, Condemn doesn't answer Mistbind Clique (just as a precaution) and those are probably the only removal spells I'd consider for this deck. PtE seems the strongest by just off-ing a single guy that really, really needs to die.

Onto words about Gabriel's list.
Interesting super sorcery speed.dec
I'm guessing now that the whole list is known you can't bluff certain cards in your list, so now random mana open for your opponent to guess Fallout or Jund Charm.
But on the plus, it now has super consistent Esper Mana.
Did he never miss Esper Charm? It seems like that deck is light on draw, especially with only 25 lands.
Reading the coverage it looks like he just got another win putting him into the semifinals. It's definitely a different take on the deck but it's hard to argue with the results.
Edit: looks like he beat faeries in the semifinals and now has to be combo swans to win the whole thing.
i personally think digging for answers on low life was a huge mistake as he could have kept his life just above lethal level if swans tried to combo out

He was not prepared for his opponent's sideboard plan and moved most of his board sweepers out after the first game.

Obelisk of Alara is his main win condition. I agree about Esper charm but I think he wanted to minimize black and green and play more of a good color control deck with black and green splashed in instead of a pure 5 color control deck.

arctic: so he basiclly panicked if i was in that situation i would have kept gaining 5 life and pray my opponent trys to play primal to finish us off we counter it and just win since he drew out his whole deck expecting to restart his deck
Obviosly it wasnt, I would think alot of the aggro these days would be to fast for that last.
No path's either, wow, I hate that card early game but late game it always seems pretty stellar.
So, the Wall package is obselete now too?

Tidings still confuses me.

Don't they see each others lists before the match??? So how do you not know what could be coming?
