Round 1 went 1-2 against fairy's who topdecked a cryptic command to win the 3rd game.
Round 2 Beat tokens
Round 3 Took 16 damage from hells thunders first game and got killed by demigod while feeling silly holding a negate, 2nd game he topdecked demigod for the win after I had stabilized at a low life without drawing any of my hate.
Least I won a side draft =/.
NJ states had lots of fairys and a decent amount of RDW, so it was a pretty poor deck choice. And I got pretty unlucky I'd say.
Thanks for the local results Meister !
Did you leave before the end ?
Nothing new ont those lists for now, apart from that "Bant-Crashers" deck...
I left around the semi finals.
Quarterfinals were (Sure about the first two, not sure about the last two):
UB Fae vs. Vengeant Control
Quick and Toast vs RDW
Mirror Kithkin vs. the other UB Fae
Quillspike vs. non-Mirror Kithkin
Richard Shanlever - R/b Demigod vs. Kali Pyrlik - Kithkin (Kali won)
Todd Anderson - Faeries vs. William Ellis - RDW (Todd won)
Jason Selvage - 5cc vs. Joseph Grier - 5cc (Still going when I left)
Brett Anderson - R/W Kithkin w/ Venegeant vs. Blair Simpson - Bant Control (Still going when I left)
This was just from a glance so I might have some of the decks pegged wrong. Blair's deck may well have been 5cc and I just never saw the other two colors. By the way, Todd and Kali are a couple and with the way the brackets are set up they could very well meet in the finals which would be kind of funny. They had to play each other in the swiss once already but to meet in the finals would be weird.
Me personally (like anyone really cares), I went 0-2 drop with Antoine Sucks/TunTun or whatever you want to call it. I had gone 3-1 in FNM with it the night before but just managed to be teh suck today. I lost to Kithkin (who got absolutely explosive draws) and some kind of weird planeswalker.dec. Seriously, I saw four different planeswalkers over the course of the match and I had never played against anything like that before. Meh.
UPDATE:
Todd beat Blair (Toast) in the semis
Selvage beat Kali (Kithkin) in the semis
i don't know what the top 8 was here but the meta was full of kithkin, fairies, and 5cc. i was playing a bant deck and went 2-3 before dropping after the fifth round.

JodoYodo, moving the Scullers to the side for 3 Mind Stone and an Oona's Grace seems techy. Did it play better as a result?
Originally the deck was maindecking 3 Scullers and 3 Mindstone, but I pushed the Scullers to the board because I found that even though I liked them a lot, they were really only strong in the Control matchups and maindecking Esper Charm was way more important. Moving the Scullers to the board allowed me to drop one Fetid Heath and I replaced it with Oona's Grace because I like the card and in testing I kept flooding. Mind Stone is great for turn 3 Nekrataal on turn 2 Gaddock Teeg (which is really good against us), and sometimes Wrath is necessary too on turn 3.
Overall some thoughts: Pithing Needle might be necessary to stop Relic of Progenitus (which was really good), I might need Agony Wrap against Gaddock Teeg, and otherwise I liked my board a lot. I liked the Oona's Grace and it definitely helped me win some long games.

Goats! Jacob van Lunen was right. If I had to choose between killing people with goats and eating ice cream, I'd definately pick killing people with goats.
Pennsylvania states top 8 was:
1 Fae- Brett Blackman Winner
2 Fae- Tim Timlin (Split)
3/4 Fae- Craig Berry
3/4 Red- John???
5/8 Fae- Shea Miller
5/8 R/W Ajani Aggro- ???
5/8 QnT- ???
5/8 QnT- ???
I was 5-1 with Kithkin then scooped my friend ( Craig Berry) into the top8 because we share cards. I think 146 players. My matchups were:
GW Little Kid- 2-1
Faeries- 2-0
QnT- 2-1
Fae- 0-2
Red- 2-1
Red- 2-0
Fae- Scoop
Maine States Adam Schaff won the whole thing going 8-0-2 I believe with vengeant aggro. The top8 was
UBW Lark vs UBW Fae (Lark Won)
Merfolk vs BW Midrange (Merfolk Won)
UBW Fae vs ????? (UBW Fae Won)
Vengeant Aggro vs Kithkin with mirror (Vengeant Aggro Won)
UBW Lark vs Merfolk (Merfolk Won)
Vengeant Aggro vs UBW Fae (Vengeant Aggro Won)
Vengeant Aggro vs Merfolk (Vengeant Aggro Won)
It was a great event I myself went 1-2 drop with GB Rock I got horrible luck and it was pitiful but oh well it happens.. For the Metagame is was ALOT of Lark, kithkin and RDW with Faeries at the top tables. I saw literally 3 Toast players total and they weren't doing well. Congrats to Adam he played really good through the top8.
Quebec Champs in Montreal, Top 8 decks (not final standings):
2x UB Fae
1x Kithkin (Didn't see if it had Mirrorweave)
1x Kithkin w/ Mirrorweave
1x Quick and Toast
1x Quillspike/Tokens (Ran Husk)
1x Vengeant Aggro
1x RDW
Hey thanks for this. I was Mirrorweave guy, and lost in the first match against the other Kithkin, which didn't have Mirrorweave. It was a red splash, but without Vengeant I think. I lost super quickly, double mana short.
My first top 8 in a tournament of this size - 96 players I believe. Very happy about today
Rhode Island here.... didn't see the top8 as I went to draft after pulling a loss in the last round (3-3, might have actually made top8 with a win, low turnout), but I know rwvengeant and 5cc control were represented, as were I think fae and some other type of rw deck.
Meta was all over, I played merfolk, ubr fae, rdw, tokens (mirror for me), naya stompy (FoD, gw liege, thocotar, etc), and this ridiculous mostly green deck running stuff like manamorphose into talara's battalion, manamorphose into rafiq, swing treetop village 4/4 double strike, tower above BoP, tower above manaplasm, ick. Also represented were a few other 5cc, more rwvengeant, planeswalkers, other stuff too.

but yeah, I went 5-2 there, it was rough w/ faeries. Although I did manage to beat my worst matchup twice!
OK, I ended up winning British Columbia champs with u/b Faeries finishing 8-1-1 on the day through top 8
Top eight was
Faeries(Me) vs 5c Cruel Control 2-1 for me
Faeries vs Bant aggro Faeries faeries wins
5c elementals vs white wheenie elementals wins
rdw vs white wheenie , wheenie takes it
Then faeries mirror i win 2-1
And elementals goes to the finals,
and then i take elementals down 2-0
field was 100 players, and looked like there was alot of kithkin around,
I got t16 at the NC champs competition, playing RDW. I ran into fae x5, 5c x1, kithkin x2.
I saw one other demigod deck at the top tables, everyone else was playing r/w kithkin, ww, fae, or 5cc. I didn't really get a 100% look at what t8 was playing, I was just really psyched that I had placed 16th!
Also, field was 216 players.
