So UR Prowess has a decent available mana-base, a lot of cantrip and many prowess creatures. In fact, Soul-Scar Mage, Spellweaver Eternal and Adeliz, the Cinder Wind are Wizards. This means with Adeliz out for EACH spell you play, you essentially get +2+2. This is great and a powerful mechanic to build a wizard deck around.
I think the initial weakness of this deck archetype is instant speed targeted creature removal like Fatal Push or Seal Away. Also a well timed Settle the Wreckage could be brutal. I am also wondering if Spellweaver Eternal is even worth it as it cost a blue mana. Being able to run as many red sources as possible seems crucial to chain spells together.
This is the list I will be play testing soon. The general idea is I drop an Adeliz, with hopefully 1 or 2 other creatures and chain red cantrips together. I don't know if the damage is large enough to justify the cantrips but it's worth trying.
I really like this deck. 4 Adeliz maaay be too much; I'd really hate to get stuck with multiples in my hand. 2 Jaya is probably too high as well -- you're an aggro deck and the top of your curve needs to impact the board a little more, especially as a 5-drop. I would go down a copy if not both. I think Spellweaver Eternal is definitely worth running at least as far as power level. The manabase shouldn't be too difficult to play with. Another option is Siren Stormtamer, although the U on T1 might prove too unwieldy. If you go UR for Spellweaver and Stormtamer, I would also recommend Riddleform. I think the question then would be are you just a worse Enigma Drake deck or the option to be something as a more aggressive alternative. The other concern I would have is what are you going to do after rotation. You lose one of your best one-drops in Soulscar Mage. Siren Stormtamer could still work, but without the prowess mage I would be concerned. Then again, CoreSet 19 could completely off-set rotation for Wizards tribal if WotC continues with the DOM tribe then.
I'm not a huge Standard player but I do love Wizards especially in Modern, so it's nice to see this kind of tribal deck get some love. Looking great so far though!
You're also forgetting about some of the workhorse wizards. Even though they don't have prowess, it's hard to avoid using something like Siren Stormtamer for protection.
