Tempo deck looking to survive the early rush while putting pressure on the opponent. Then we close out the game with our murder ship or an army. Panharmonicon and Bontu's Monument help you get extra mileage out of your creatures. Metallic Rebuke is a nice cheap disruptive tool here that helps us put a wrench in our opponents plans. We also get to play a lot of strong tools against aggro and control in the sideboard.
I'm looking forward to playing this in local events wants Ixalan drops. Let me know if there's something you'd replace and what you'd replace it with.
I played an Aetherborn tribal deck a few months ago, and the plan I felt that was super strong involved Yahenni, Undying Partisan and Syndicate Trafficker. They can both survive Bontu's Last Reckoning with indestructibility and then it becomes a blowout. Yahenni getting 3 or 4 counters after wiping the opponent's board. Also, sacrificing an artifact to Syndicate Trafficker can be useful with cards like Servo Schematic. I believe there are some cards you could cut a few copies of--i.e. Tezzeret the Schemer, maybe could be a 3-of--and some you could cut altogether--i.e. Weaponcraft Enthusiast is pretty awful and Panharmonicon doesn't seem to do enough in your deck.
I started out with monoblack and found that I was struggling to beat control/combo. Mettalic Rebuke and Tezzeret help a lot there. I'm looking forward to getting duress back. Syndicate Trafficer is very good, but I'm not sure what I'd cut. Maybe panharmonicon.
I love Tezzeret, I'm only suggesting to cut him down to 3 instead of 4. He doesn't protect himself well, and 4 copies is a hard case to make. Also, both combo and control take a hit if you side in Doomfall, Dreamstealer, or Unburden.

I played Mono Black Aetherborn quite a bit before the latest rotation. The bolded is spot on for an Aetherborn tribal and is the engine for it IMO. It had bad match ups of course. It did fairly well at around a 60% overall win ratio. If they allowed my board to develop it could get nuts.
Below was the last iteration of the Mono Black. It my help as a reference. Ob Nixilis Reignited was the last addition for a card draw and secondary creature removal. The local meta I was playing in was heavy with Plainswalkers and Gods. I'm playing a UB Improvise since the rotation.
With a UB version I would probably start with the core engine and go from there. 22-23 lands, Kingpin, Rebuke, Blue card draw, and a couple Tezzeret's Touch just to be an ass for a surprise attack

However, the cards that fed the engine were Weaponcraft Enthusiast and Servo Schematic.
