The following list top 16 at a SCG event and I thought it would handle very well in the current meta with a few changes to both main and side board. It is the Temur Energy shell with the Planeswalker package. The other list ran more of the higher CM creatures, I thought it would be better to be lower to the ground with some cheap creatures, Greenbelt Rampager being one of the better energy creatures to deploy early VS Zombies or Ramunap Red decks. Couple of my buddies from my LGS took R/B Midrange Control lists to the Grand Prix, but I didn't jump on that bandwagon because I thought if you faced U/R control at all you would just lose. One of those guys got into Top 8 with it.
The following are the results of Grand Prix Minneapolis 2017. 6-3 day 1 with 5-1 day 2. Sideboard plan changes a little bit depending on Play/Draw, Mostly some of the cheap creatures/Planeswalkers. Couple huge misplays on my side day 1 VS the G/B Constrictor and W/G Tokens deck would of let me go into day 2 8-1. Top 27-78 were all 11-4, all came down to tiebreakers, sadly 2 of my loses were in 2 and hurt them pretty bad. Only 3 people I played day 1 made day 2. I was overall happy with the Grand Prix, I might of changed the Chandra, Flamecaller into another mainboard Sweltering Suns if I could do it again, cheap sweepers that you can cycle vs non-aggro decks are amazing.
I went 11-4, final standings after 15 rounds of swiss was 68th place. Feel free to look over my notes below and if you have anything to add that i should of done better or why i did what i did, please ask.
Round 8 VS W/G Tokens (1-2) On Draw
Game one he landed both his Planeswalkers and produced enough tokens to stop my attacks from killing them. I was able to land a couple of Planeswalkers of my own, then closed out the game. Game two I kept a hand that would stop his Planeswalkers but he sided in Thought-Knot Seer and striped my hand of everything. He played 3 of them in a row, striped my hand and slowed me down. He landed Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and won the game. Game three went long and I was drawing only lands. He was drawing only lands to, but he has Westvale Abbey out, so he only had to wait 5 turns. SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-2 Abrade
-1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+3 Negate
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Hour of Devistation
+2 Radiant Flames
Did more testing vs mono black zombies and ramunap red. Game 1 vs zombies is up for grabs, only1 way in the main to deal with liliana's mastery. Game 2 is much stronger with negates and more boardwipes. Mono red is a pretty easy win as long as your playing spells ebery turn.
i really like the deck. I did not put the Nahiri, because she rotate soon and i had to buy it, instead i replace her with Liliana, Death's Majesty and i replace tireless tracker with 2x Razaketh, the Foulblooded. When he hit the board, 9/10 it's gg
Interesting. Nahiri is mainly in the board and side VS zomboies and mono red. really good way to exile enchantments and tapped hazorets. Tireless trackers are great against control(not many of these running around atm) and creature heavy decks.
I mostly see people running the liliana+Razaketh in re-animator decks, how do you plan to cast him? You don't want cards in your GY so Liliana +ability is bad for this deck.
Went 3-1 at FNM this week, lost to zombies. couple misplays and some bad luck not getting a 2nd red source.
I am also planning on taking a version of this list to GP Denver.

I add a play set of Blooming Marsh+ 2 swamps. I mostly i re animate Razaketh for the tutor effect since the deamon will not stay long in play. but if he stay, the opponent scoop usually

Something came up and I was unable to go to Denver. In the testing I've done VS the temur energy list, the 5-color planeswalker list wins 80% of the time. If you don't respect the Thopters you can lose pretty easy

Round 1 VS Sultai ReAnimator (2-1) On Draw
Game one he hit all the right cards and just overwhelmed me with Ever After. Game two and three I landed Crook of Condemnation on turn 2 and controlled his graveyard, made him hard cast everything, won with all my Planeswalkers. Pulse of Murasa life gain was interesting, told me it was the package to help get him to late game vs all the aggro decks.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-1 Magma Spray
-1 Sweltering Suns
+1 Hour of Devastation
+3 Negate
+1 Crook of Condemnation
Round 2 VS Ramunap Red (0-2) On Play
Game one he curved out perfectly and just kept beating me down with Hazoret the Fervent. Game two I was clearly in control, I started drawing bunch of lands and he was just pitching cards with Hazoret the Fervent slowing knocking me down.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Abrade
-1 Oath of Nissa
-2 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh
-1 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
-1 Chandra, Flamecaller
+2 Radiant Flames
+1 Confiscation Coup
+1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+1 Magma Spray
+2 Negate
Round 3 VS B/G Constrictor (1-2) On Play
Game one I was able to kill the Winding Constrictor every time it was played for, protected my Planeswalkers until I took control of the game. Game two he curved out well with Winding Constrictor and got out of hand fast. Game three was going late game, I had Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh out and was playing from his deck. Was holding out until he drew enough kill spells to knock just enough of my creatures to deal lethal.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
+1 Glorybringer
+1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+1 Confiscation Coup
+1 Hour of Devastation
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Abrade
Round 4 VS U/R Control (2-0) On Draw
Game one I was on the creature plan, landed a bunch and started the beats. He never saw any Planeswalkers. Going to game two I drew out some of the counter-spells for my bigger creatures and landed Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh. He tried to attack with his Wandering Fumarole and Torrential Gearhulk
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-1 Sweltering Suns
-1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
+2 Tireless Tracker
+1 Abrade
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+3 Negate
+1 Crook of Conemnation
Round 5 VS B/G Constrictor (2-1) On Play
Game one Winding Constrictor took over the game before I could get a removal spell. Game two and three I drew all the removal and Planeswalkers and took over the game. Started playing with his deck more than he was with Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
+1 Glorybringer
+1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+1 Confiscation Coup
+1 Hour of Devastation
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Abrade
Round 6 VS Sultai ReAnimator (2-0) On Play
Game one he got stuck on 3 lands, he discarded to hand size the wrong cards and gave away what he was playing. Game two I landed Crook of Condemnation on turn two. Controlled his side of the board the whole game.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-1 Magma Spray
-1 Sweltering Suns
+1 Hour of Devastation
+3 Negate
+1 Crook of Condemnation
Round 7 VS B/G Constrictor (2-1) On Play
Game one I saw only 1 removal spell and Winding Constrictor won him the game. Game two and three I curved out to turn 5 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh and started playing with his deck.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
+1 Glorybringer
+1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+1 Confiscation Coup

Round 9 VS Grixis Midrange Control (2-0) On Play
Game one and two he kept bad hands and only got 3 lands each game. Later he told me he wasn't planing on even playing day 2 going in with a 6-3 record. He was going to concede after we played anyway.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-1 Sweltering Suns
-2 Abrade
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
+2 Tireless Tracker
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+3 Negate
+1 Crook of Conemnation
Round 10 VS R/B Midrange (2-0) On Play
Game one he was stuck on 3 lands. Had enough kill spells to drag the game out a bit, when he finally was able to land Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, I killed it before his turn was over and he conceded. Game two he got stuck on 2 lands after he mulled to 5. It happens to us all.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-1 Sweltering Suns
-2 Abrade
-1 Greenbelt Rampager
+2 Tireless Tracker
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+3 Negate
Round 11 VS U/W Gift (2-1) On Play
Game one he had good opening hand for self mill and landed God-Pharaoh's Gift, I lost quickly to a 6/6 Angle with Vigilance/Lifelink. Game two I landed Crook of Condemnation on turn 2 and controled his graveyard. Making sure to keep Abrade or Negate in hand for the God-Pharaoh's Gift being casted. Game three I curved out perfectly into a turn 4 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh. First activation of Nicol Bolas, I stole his God-Pharaoh's Gift and before I could cast it he scooped.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Magma Spray
-1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
-2 Greenbelt Rampager
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
-1 Longtusk Cub
+1 Abrade
+3 Negate
+1 Confiscation Coup
+1 Crook of Condemnation
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Hour of Devastation
Round 12 VS Ramunap Red (2-1) On Draw
Game one he kept a slow hand and had no haste creatures until turn 4. Game two I had exiled 1 hazoret the Fervent, he cast him the next turn. I used Confiscation Coup on it, the following turn he casted his third hazoret the Fervent. He got me low enough that I couldn't afford to attack with fear of his haste creatures. Game three I had all the answers and he never saw a hazoret the Fervent. Game three was probably easiest game VS this deck I had all weekend.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-2 Abrade
-1 Oath of Nissa
-2 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh
-1 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
-1 Chandra, Flamecaller
+2 Radiant Flames
+1 Confiscation Coup
+1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
+1 Magma Spray
+2 Negate
Round 13 VS Mono Black Zombies (2-0) On Draw
Game one it seemed he kept a hand specifically for two Cryptbreaker in his hand. I killed them both instantly and he got stuck on 2 lands, easy win. Game two he was able to land 3 lands, but only saw Relendless Dead that were all met with my Magma Spray. He wasn't very happy at the end of the game. I tried to make small talk, seemed he went 8-1 day one and I was his second lost in a row for day 2.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-1 Servant of the Conduit
-1 Longtusk Cub
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
-1 Bristling Hydra
-1 Oath of Nissa
-1 Abrade
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Hour of Devastation
+2 Radiant Flames
+1 Magma Spray
+2 Negate
Round 14 VS Mono Black Zombies (0-2) On Draw
Game one he curved out perfectly, I kept a good hand vs this deck but ended up drawing my higher end Planeswalkers. Game two I had 2 Magma Spray and Radiant Flames in hand, but kept a scary hand. Only 1 Aether Hub and 2 Botanical Sanctum, with no other way to get red mana. Once I landed a Planeswalker, he had the skyship in hand ready to kill it. Was impressive to see this Platinum Pro at work
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-1 Servant of the Conduit
-1 Longtusk Cub
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
-1 Bristling Hydra
-1 Oath of Nissa
-1 Abrade
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Hour of Devastation
+2 Radiant Flames
+1 Magma Spray
+2 Negate
Round 15 VS Mono Black Zombies (2-0) On Draw
Game one I curved perfectly into good creatures and some Planeswalkers to back them up. Game two he drew nothing but lands and tried to resolve his first spell on turn 5 and turn 6, both were met with a Negate. When I had told him I only lost 1 game day two, he wish me the best of luck placing for money.
SIDEBOARD PLAN
-1 Servant of the Conduit
-1 Longtusk Cub
-2 Whirler Virtuoso
-1 Bristling Hydra
-1 Oath of Nissa
-1 Abrade
+1 Harnessed Lightning
+1 Hour of Devastation
+2 Radiant Flames
+1 Magma Spray
+2 Negate
This deck eats all midrange decks.
Went 4-0 at fnm, feels really strong to me.
Thank you, not sure how I missed that. It has been updated, was Greenbelt Rampager. Such a great card vs these aggro decks
