You guys are right. I think I am still keeping those Ishkanah out of sentimental value. I will take them out. What do you guys think of Inspiring Statuary? With it, Marvel, and Puzzleknot in play, they can help through Improvise to pay the hard casting cost of Ulamog and most of the deck.
Interesting catch on Inspiring Statuary, should be able to hard cast Ulamog faster. World Breaker should fit in nicely replacing Emrakul's slot.
So I did some testing yesterday, Inspiring Statuary can really pay the difference to hard cast Ulamog as early as turn 6. I'm having doubts about Zendikar Resurgent. It's great for what it does but its too clunky unless I marvel it in.
Inspiring Statuary seems like a bad choice for this deck. I think marvel, I think of big cards you wouldn't normally cast and have huge impact on the board. Aetherwind Basker Would do this. ETB would give you some E back from the marvel activation. If your running the Temur version still with Whirler Victuoso's, even more energy.

True but the most successful versions included a Plan B to hard cast Emrakul. Unfortunately the delirium shell we love is now underwhelming without Emmy. Inspiring Statuary could be the new Plan B to hard cast Ulamog and other value cards in the deck. With more or less 11 artifacts in the deck, Inspiring Statuary could be the difference between winning or losing. In my test plays, its been a delight. What I'm debating are the creatures to add.

World Breaker seems reasonable.
Brood Monitor substitutes Ishkanah since it can create 3 creature tokens, which can help cast Ulamog or generate energy for Marvel.
Try Conduit of Ruin, help hard cast and puts Ulamog on top so if marvel is ready you are guaranteed a hit, should allow you to get away with only play 2 ulamogs and 2 conduit of ruin
We all at least agree that mana ramping is important for an Ulamog Marvel deck to function. I wouldn't be surprise if artifact decks will use Inspiring Statuary to cast their own Ulamog. The meta will change and we need to consider the emerging archetypes so Marvel can persevere in the new standard.
Energy aggro decks, vehicle decks w/ Heart of Kiran, and GW human decks may increase in popularity. I think Kozilek's Return should be mainboard (unless your local meta is different). There is also the eminent threat of combo decks like Saheeli's Cats (also known as Saheeli's Twin). Removal like Shock and [[Natural State]] will be vital for disruption.

I ran K.Rtn against the old GW tokens, many times then get their creatures out of range before 2 damage can kill anything with all the counter placement spells like nissa and Oath of Ajani. Then when you finally get 7 mana many times its too late or they are holding up a spell that gives indestructibility.
I am SBing 3 Radiant flames.
Edited my post ban list to include singleton blighted woodland and spawning bed.
I am so glad this is an active thread! I just finished making the marvel deck, and I mean just finished last week. The bans have literally destroyed this deck (although I think they needed to ban emrakul). As far as ramp spells go, we don't even have one that we can use that costs 2 mana or less? Everything I see here cost between 5-7 mana to cast. I also think that keeping Chandra as a 3 of in the main will help with the hard cast of ulamog. Is anyone playing 4 of them? Also have we completely abandoned the white splash? What about the blue splash?
Natural Connection is another mana ramp spell you can run. You want to make sure if you're running a lot of ramp spells you have enough basic lands to always hit.

Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger - no need for an explanation; its godly; can end games after 2-3 attacks without dealing damage
Aethersquall Ancient - is a beater with flying; can generate 3 energy @ upkeep; has ability to bounce all creatures
Aethertide Whale - is a beater with flying; can generate 6 energy ETB; has ability to bounce itself
Aetherwind Basker - is a beater with trample; can generate energy per creature @ ETB/attack; has ability to pump itself up
Brisela, Voice of Nightmares - needs extra work to transform; beater with tons of static abilities and prevents opponent from casting 3 or less CMC spells
Decimator of the Provinces - is a beater with haste/trample; can pump up other creatures and give trample
Demon of Dark Schemes - is a beater with flying; enters with -2/-2 all creature ETB; generates 1 energy per creature death; has ability to animate GY creatures
Kozilek, the Great Distortion - is a beater with menace; needs colorless mana to cast without Marvel;can give draws at cast and has a counter ability
Linvala, the Preserver - is a beater with flying; has ETB ability to gain life and create angel token
Omnath, Locus of Rage - is a beater; needs land fall to create 3/3 tokens;has ability to deal 3 damage to creature/player if elemental dies
Oran-Rief Hydra - is a beater with trample; needs constant land drops to trigger ability; gets pump counters with landfall
Plated Crusher - is a beater with build-in hexproof and trample
Sphinx of the Final Word - is a beater with build-in hexproof and flying; cant be countered; prevents your instants/sorceries from being countered
Void Winnower - is a beater; disables even CMC creatures from blocking; prevents opponents from casting even CMC spells.

-Ishkanah is a great creature on her own, delirium isnt a problem with this deck so I play 2.
-Chandra is removal, ramp and card advantage and has a win condition in her ultimate, however Im not a fan of playing three due to the legend rule and having (used to) desires to also play chandra, Flamcaller.
-Hedron Archive is a crutch to get Ulamog out of my hand, later in the game it can be sacked for cards.
-Conduit of Ruin finds Ulamog and helps cast him, if you get to untap with it but as a 5/5 is no slouch.
thats 8 spots that can be discussed.
Many cards you listed I can see going into different shells.

Many cards you listed I can see going into different shells.
Frankly, I would love an Ulamog win T4/T5 but we also need to consider that an Ulamog may not resolve or be removed before causing damage. With Emrakul, you at least had Ulamog as a second option if Emmy failed. Are we putting all our efforts on just Ulamog? I listed all those creatures as potential backup options as 1-of or two. Marvel may even evolve into another shell without Eldrazis so I'm putting it out there as food for thought.
Presently, you are right. We need to focus on casting Marvel or Ulamog as effectively as possible.
Don't need to over think the deck to still be viable. The current shell works, some changes to the main, sideboard will change when we see what decks form out of Aether Revolt. I am sure Shocks will be a thing. I don't see running 4 Ulamogs in the main as a good idea unless you are running more mana ramp+hedron archives. Last thing you want to happen is have 2 of them in your hand, Emrakul you could at least cast before turn 10.
Some of the main board here might need to be moved to sideboard and same can be said about sideboard. Only time will tell. Ishkanah, Grafwidow might still be a good card for the main.

Why basker? Why with no Ishkanah main? It feels like the reset button has been pressed on Standard, Im expecting a lot of aggro with all the GW token type cards and vehicles. I think Ishkanah is still very much a main deck card.
Those 4 Chandras scare me, afraid to have one on the field and 1 or 2 rotting in my hand, despite that situation being a good one.
I actually think a 1/1 split between conduit of ruin and Nissa's renewal is good for my deck, thanks
Why the Hanweir Battlement? Haste on Ulamog that important? Thought about spawning bed or blighted woodland?
Against an aggro deck to get the 'back end' of K.return you only have one creature to trigger it, world Breaker, at most 2; you wouldnt be keeping more than 1 Ulamog games 2 and 3. What about radiant flames?
I agree with Red here. I think we are going to see a big push for aggro after the bans take affect. I like the 3x Ishkana in the MD and is Whirler Virtuoso where we need to be? Is the blue splash that critical? I also think 3x Chandra in the main is fine. I Rhazzer's inclusion of Nissa's Renewal to help cast the ulamog if we have to hard cast it. What counter spells would we run in the board if we stay with the blue splash? Do we still need Kozielk's return in the board as well? What about 2 world breaker in the spot for Aetherwind Basker?

Radiant Flames over K.Rtn?
Renewal also gains us more life (over the puzzles)
I like dispel in the side just to counter counters to land our threats.
Shock in the board to fight the new "Twin" combo (Killing the PW) and also for those hyper aggressive strats.
What about void shatter coming out of the board. Its a hard counter that exiles. Seems like it would be pretty good (especially in the mirror). If I'm not mistaken, you are still casting the creature that comes off of marvel, so you could counter the opponents Ulamog?

It costs 3 mana and double Blue.
I have read arguements on U/W Flash threads claiming that counter that cost 2U "counter is OP doesnt spend 4" is better than void shatter.
Im fine with Dispel to push my threats.
I guess spell shrivel would be better. It's only one blue and should be able to counter most of the format. Dispell only gets instants. I fell like that's too narrow no?

Best Ramp at 2 mana other than Servant of the conduit:
Corrupted Grafstone - can be used T3 with attunes, some Marvels were running 2 Traverse in place of 2 lands
Druid of the Cowl - new dork from new set, 1/3, but only for green
Deathcap Cultivator
Hedron Crawler
Ulvenwald Captive - use early, transform later to cast ulamog, but only green
primal Druid - has to die, see Temerge
ruin in their wake - needs wastes, not for this build
Whirler Virtuoso in the main with counters in the side are my reason for the blue splash

It costs 3 mana and double Blue.
I have read arguements on U/W Flash threads claiming that counter that cost 2U "counter is OP doesnt spend 4" is better than void shatter.
Im fine with Dispel to push my threats.
Props to DarkNightCavalier 4 da banner and SGT_Chubbz 4 avvie, here
