Any thoughts on Avacyn vs Glorybringer? The top list at the Open last weekend run Avacyns with 0 Glorybringers, but there was clearly mixed opinion throughout the top 16.
I feel like Glorybringer is so much more aggressive and fits in a lot more for what the deck is doing, but Avacyn certainly has more play to it.
I feel that Acavyn is the better fit because she gives us more options on how to use her and when. While Glorybringer is strictly an aggressive creature with a more limited roll as to how it can be used.

I've been trying mardu control as of late and I'm really liking it. Cards like cut and never with Sorin/redgearhulk can just blow opponents out. Gideon and Glorybringer can pressure the opponents and make them use their premium removal and the late drop of Sorin red/blk gearhulks can put them away.
My local meta is very heavy in creature decks.
I'm not sure how to go with aggro as I feel like decks can now outclass us.
I notice a lot of Mardu decks have 2x Nahiri, the Harbinger in the sideboard. Do you all think she is necessary or could she be replaced with Chandra, Torch of Defiance?
I bring this up because when I faced Mardu decks, they would bring in Nahiri but usually just +2 her for nothing. I guess her removal ability is good against Aetherworks Marvel but there's already Anguished Unmaking and Release the Gremlins.

Used to think that too, until I played with one Nahiri (the only one that I had) in the game-day last weekend. She puts a lot of work against Zombies, Marvel and Control decks. And her high loyalty is perfect for crewing Heart/protecting herself. On the other hand, 4cc Chandra was bit underwhelming. The only thing impeding me going up to two in the SB is her price that seems to never drop
Moving Exemplars to SB while the meta is gravitating towards more Marvel and UR seems madness. Also, turn 1 exemplar into turn 2 scrounger/heart followed by removal is nuts!
I don't like dispossess or anyother effects of this type (lost legacy), not worth loosing tempo against Marvel since they can win even w/o spinning the will post-SB. Transgress is the go-to discard spell for me, 3 seems the correct amount, but playing the full set can be justified in control/marvel heavy metas.
Has anyone here tried playing Weldfast Engineer? I'm playing the same list that Max McVety used to top 4 at GP Montreal and I'm thinking of cutting the 2x Avacyns and 1 Culivator's Caravan for 3x Weldfast Engineers, or just cutting the 2x Avacyns for 2x Weldfast Engineers.
In nearly all match-ups, the Avacyns and 1 Culivator's Caravan get boarded out anyway, so why not replace them with something that could make the deck even more aggressive?
Has anyone tried Inventor's Goggles? I know it seems a little clunky but it makes lists that run Toolcraft Exemplar along Inventor's Apprentice much stronger when you pull them late game, plus it helps apprentice pilot. If you run Pia Nalaar it can also help keep her alive to sneak some extra damage through and doesn't hurt as a sacrifice.
Here's what I'm running, got 3rd place twice at a couple standard events this weekend, only lost once each time to keeping bad hands and mismanaging my shocks.
At work right now and headed home, I'll explain more about how it plays later. Obviously I'm playing with what I have otherwise there'd be more Kiran and Gideon, etc. For now I do think that Gideon of the Trials is underrated as his +1 has worked stellar for me and his Emblem equally so.
Does anybody have a good answer for UW monument? I'm thinking of siding abrade just to keep the monument off the board and have an alternative to take out spell queller. I'm also thinking authority of the consultant just because it comes down early and is harder for them to remove than Thalia.
Should I be playing Veteran Motorists or Walking Ballista's this weekend? All arguments for either are greatly appreciated! Also thoughts on Aethersphere Harvester? Avacyn or Glory Bringer? Need some help deciding on which Mardu build is best for current meta.

I expect to see a high number of Chandra, Torch of Defiance as the replacement for Gideons.
Bomat Courier may even fill in for Thraben, running alongside Inventor's Apprentice.
Walking Ballista is in.
Here's a pretty stock deck that is doing the Top 8 sites. Land is pretty standard, maybe minus Needle Spires - but this is the MD content.
4 Scrapheap Scrounger
2 Thalia, Heretic Cathar
4 Thraben Inspector
4 Toolcraft Exemplar
2 Walking Ballista
3 Fatal Push
4 Unlicensed Disintegration
1 Nahiri, the Harbinger
Thalia and Avacyn will be a big miss.
We lose Thraben Inspector and Gideon. Losing Gideon hurts the deck a ton on the late game, but the rest of the aggressive side of deck remains.
4 Inventor's Apprentice
4 Toolcraft Exemplar
4 Scrapheap Scrounger
4 Veteran Motorist
1 Depala, Pilot Exemplar
3 Pia Nalaar
Spells:17
3 Fatal Push
2 Abrade
4 Heart of Kiran
2 Aethersphere Harvester
4 Unlicensed Disintegration
2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
3 Aether Hub
4 Concealed Courtyard
4 Inspiring Vantage

2 Chandra's Defeat
2 Magma Spray
2 Release the Gremlins
2 Cultivator's Caravan
4 Metallic Rebuke
2 Fumigate
1 Skysovereign, Consul Flagship
Inventor's Apprentice could fill the 1-drop slot. Chandra does alright as a planeswalker replacement as well.
Not sure what we could use from the new set.
