I'm interested, but not understanding. The zombie plan clearly looks to be powerful, but I don't see why you would want to pair that with Tracker and 1 Marionette Master. The only synergy between the two plans seems to be sacrificing Scrounger, and that's only good for Trafficker, Marionette, nothing to do with Tracker, Graf Mole. Of course you aren't running many of these. Possibly, a stronger deck will arise keeping Ulvenwald Mysteries, then focusing on killing things.

The synergy is to aggressively attack and trade real recurring creatures like Amalgam, Scrounger, Scourge, Haunted Dead (or sac them to something like Voldaren Pariah) to get clues from Mysteries. And the Trafficker works great with both plans, playing like a good 2-drop in aggro plan. It adds a second, clue/token/abbey plan to zombies strategy.
Original Clues can't press the opponent early and consistently, and need some time to come back online after disruption. Scrounger/Scourge makes one part of the combo (creatures) recurring.
I get it now. May I suggest: -Traverse the Ulvenwald, +Grapple with the Past, keep Lost Legacy in the sideboard, and add more of these other creatures or some removal.

The Grapple is good, but 2cmc slot is overcrowded already, and we really don't want to mill Mysteries accidentally. Vessel of Nascency is for this purpose exactly. Traverse the Ulvenwald is a questionable card in this list, but it allows us to play some relevant singletons. Lost Legacy could be really switched to some other removal.
The problem with the deck is still the lack of creature sac outlets.
"Mill Mysteries accidentally" is a false concern. You don't have a tutor in your deck, so milling that card is a random event exactly balanced by another random occurrence: finding more mysteries on top of your deck because you milled away non-mysteries cards. With no scry and no search, you mathematically affect absolutely nothing positive or negatively. It's all random.
To be precise though, you *do* have a tutor, but it's an inconsistent one: Traverse the Ulvenwald is a tutor if you have delirium. You can easily get Creature and Artifact, but only a few sorceries and a few enchantments exist so it will be late before you have both of those in the grave (unless you Noose Grafter them there). And you couldn't tutor Mysteries anyway so it's kind of irrelevant.
The best creature-sac outlet I know is Voldaren. I'd run 2 of those rather than the 1 you list. If you dip into white, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim is good, or Reaper of Flight Moonsilver. My other proposal is the one I play: Metalwork Colossus, though you can only get artifact creatures (and clues). I can expect you have enough creatures in your grave that you won't run out.
Taking a few hints from the GW aggro deck that ran through the SCG open (which its players say is flawed, but a pro's flawed but winning build is likely sharper than my stuff.)
Fairgrounds Warden is really helpful. Eliminates their awesome creature and crews copters.
Monday Night magic report: I had GWB deck, like the one above but without Blossoming Defense or Hissing Quagmire (really wish I had that).
I went against BW control x2, UR Reservoir and BRG delirium.
1 win (UR), 2 losses (BW, BRG), 1 draw (BW). However, I feel like I could have won every match with just a few play adjustments. A few deck adjustments could also help.
The Great: mana, getting clues, the staying power, Marionette when it gets online.
The Weakish: Fairgrounds Warden against control decks. Copter dying too soon.
Proposal for next round: Go controlling, with maindeck Fumigate, which I can afford because Syndicate Trafficker, Smuggler's Copter, Ulvenwald Mysteries are all fine through this. Marionette Master wins just fine with a swept board. It's also a lifegain buffer. Also main a Quarantine Field (possibly side out, but any Fragmentize they run is overloaded with targets) and some early removal.

I am trying to get better at making decks. I have had trouble creating more competitive decks as I only really build with the cards I have. I dont have that many value cards, in function or expense. And here I thought I was the only person who played Tamiyo's Journal (Although I only have the one) Awesome thread, guys!
I've been considering how best to fix and ramp my mana, after a few games where I was just one Mana away from casting Avacyn, or Bruna, or Tamiyo's journal. How effective has Weirding Wood been?
Also, a few cards I've been mulling over that I'd like to ask you opinion on in these Decks:
Westvale Abbey: One of the side effects of Ulvenwald Mysteries in this deck is providing a steady stream of 1/1 Human tokens. And if you run fabricate creatures, you could end up with a bunch of servo tokens as well. Might as well do something with them. Its not a cheap sac outlet like some, but in return you get a 9/7 Indestuctable Haste Flying Lifelinker, and potentially triggering Marionette Master (if any of the creatures you sac'd were servos or thopters
Angelic Purge: Probably not efficient enough, but it can kill an Artifact, Enchantment, or Creature, and it provides a free sac as a bonus
Panharmonicon: I admit, I fell in love with this card because of Thalia's Lietentent, which was already pretty mean before you were potentially boosting your team +2/+2 when it enters. But Panharmonicon also synergizes with a number of artifact synergy cards, (in addition to being an artifact) Play a Threaben Inspector with a Reckless Fireweaver and Panharmonicon on the field, create 2 clues and deal four damage before you even sac the clues. It also applies to every creature with fabircate, including Marionette Master. If you thought dealing 4 damage whenever you sac a clue was rough, try doing 7. Or, since Panharmonicon specifically says the efect triggers twice, you can get the best of both worlds, creating 3 servos and pumping to 4/6. I know this card might now do enough on its own to justify inclusion, but I'm going to try it out.
I fear I've been hated out. My local meta is now UW spirits, and BW control, which both feel awful for my deck. I'd be so much happier in a RW aggro/GB Delirium/GUR Emerge meta. Thoughts on solving this meta?
Estralita: Weirding Wood is very good fixing up a 3-color deck's mana, and getting to the 5 point faster. But I feel it might just be too slow in the current meta being 3 mana that neither attacks nor defends. It can work if you can make high-impact followup plays thank's to the acceleration. Westvale Abbey is good in midrange matchups, but not against Spirits running Unsubstantiate or control running Blessed Alliance, Anguished Unmaking, Blighten Fen, Oath of Liliana. You can run it fine, and flip it only in matches when it's safe. Angelic Purge, I think is usually worse than an instant.
Panharmonicon, the core cards don't have enough uses for this, but if you have a deck that really takes advantage, I'd like to see it!

I haven't had the chance to really play this deck, and there are not many controlling decks at my lgs. Could you go either harder into control, or go back to bant and go faster than them? Bant humans with clues, or control with sphinx of the final word, other big spells like that? I haven't played that many matches against UW spirits or WB control, so not really sure how to beat them on tempo. Try and get small spells to stick to build up clues so you can keep card advantage? Eventually spirits runs out of gas I think, while we don't.
One thing I'm finding with a Sultai version is that being able to use use Attune with Aether and G/X fastlands really smooths out the mana base, as well as playing nicely with Trail of Evidence. In particular, you can run fewer lands since it's easy to get early green mana, and Attune with Aether helps power filtering with Aether Hub.
On the other hand, a Grixis version plays nicer with the Syndicate Trafficker, which I've had to pull because of how they nonbo with Flaying Tendrils. It can also use direct damage, and you might consider using Noose Constrictor for both flyer defense and a discard engine for things like Fiery Temper or even graveyard recursion.
Here's the latest version of my deck. I've changed the mana base some to focus more on early green for Attune, upped the number of Contraband Kingpins to provide more defense, and decided to use Nissa, Vital Force instead of the Gearhulks because it can rescue key cards from the graveyard while providing defense. I'm still thinking of cutting down the number of Tamiyo's Journals, perhaps for another Marionette Master, since the Journal is a slow card and you rarely if ever want two of them, and Trail of Evidence is slow, too.:
I'm still brewing on Sultai, working to take advantage of the smooth Sultai mana curve provided by green fast lands, Aether Hub and Attune with Aether. Instead of the full control approach above, this brew tries to play robust two and three drop creatures, and use instant green combat tricks, black removal, and blue counters to protect them and push through damage. Unlike the other decks above, this deck relies on Trail of Evidence as a key clue source and Syndicate Trafficker as the sacrifice outlet. This is supported by the large number of instant-speed combat tricks and control spells. This balanced creature/instant approach also synergizes well with both the excellent blue and green gearhulks.
I'm still debating on the sideboard. One option is a transformative sideboard to go against combo/midrange decks; this would put in more removal and another Journal in place of the Traffickers and some of the combat tricks.
Thoughts? The sideboard and gearhulks are the main places I'm looking at right now.
Ruinous Path and Appetite for the Unnatural are easy sideboard choices. I'm considering Edwal Illuminator (assuming that's what you mean), as it will give more board presence quickly, but I'm not sure what to drop for it. Niblis of Frost is another option there - it doesn't fuel the clue engine as well, but provides a stickier board presence. Note that in the main board, Negate, Grasp of Darkness, and Murder all deal with the lootcopter either as its cast or after its crewed.
Here's the latest version, giving an initial sideboard and a revised set of creatures. Erdwal Illuminator is indeed a nice addition, both for buffing to kill lootcopters and to push through late damage. I'm thinking about Transgress the Mind on the sideboard instead of Horribly Awry, particularly to have more leverage against Emerge strategies.
Alright, update here from my end. Running the Bant humans version of the list I posted earlier. I got 2nd at FNM, losing 2-0 to UR spells, the version from pro tour. that matchup was really rough for the most part, relying on me just getting something to stick to the field long enough to be useful. Ulvenwald Mysteries was a champ against this lineup, allowing me to dig through my deck and get chump blockers against flipped TiTi. Negate was a champion here as well. Lumbering Falls did work, getting me in range of lethal twice, I just couldn't close it out. I would chalk up my loss to me just not getting a Journal in both games, a few key spells getting countered, and making a few small errors.
Overall, I am impressed with the deck, but I am not sure it is consistent enough. It seems the deck performs best when you hit the human curve, and ignore journal. When I hit 5 mana, if I am behind, journal is just a dead card. In aggro matchups, you never have a chance to play it, ever. I would say that in control matchups, journal can single handedly win you the game. It dodges so much removal, and can find you the Quarantine Field or Tamiyo, Field Researcher you need to win the game. I think in a primarily human lineup, journal should be a sideboard card, and you side it in vs control matchups. This actually helps us out I think, because most control decks are going to side out artifact hate after game 1, not expecting Journal.
To replace journal in the mainboard, I think Thalia's Lancers is big. It is a big, dangerous creature, and finds Sigarda, Heron's Grace and Gisela and Bruna, ending the game on the spot. I do like Briarbridge Patrol in synergy with journal, but I can't quite figure out how to make it work. Perhaps in a list with 3 or 4 journals? I am afraid with such high cost stuff, we will get run over by aggro, but maybe not. It is worth looking into.
This is the deck I am going to try and run with right now. I want to try hamlet captain, so that is why I have him at a 3 of. My only concern with this deck is I have quite a few 3-ofs in the deck, and I am not sure if that is a good idea. Maybe take the reflector mages back to 4 and hamlet captain to 2?
Can you please explain why exactly you're not playing Tamiyo ? I have yet to see someone playing this card, I really have no idea about how much it impacts the board.
He is playing Tamiyo. Just not mainboard, according to his previous deck.

Another concern I have is I might want to consider Blossoming Defense or Confront the Unknown. Any suggestions?
He is playing Tamiyo. Just not mainboard, according to his previous deck.
Thank you!
