The deck concept is simple: beat with efficient weenies, countering key spells , and using creature pump to dominate combat/quicken the win.
Suggestions? Tweaks? Blatant flaws in the principle of the deck? Cheaper substitutes for the Vipers? Is Stonewood Invocation better than might of oaks since it counters/prevents removal?
Run Plaxmanta .. And -4 Giant Growth to +4 Ancestral Visions

I love the idea of the new UG fish. I posted this deck in the UG Simic Aggro section, since basically graft has been run out, and this running in. Here is my decklist:
My version runs Mutations over Cloaks and growths because it allows a 4/4 flying men turn 2 and this deck is built for speed and it uses up less mana leaving way for counters/creatures.
I play 12 counters, and 12 flash creatures. So 60% of the creatures are not played on your turn, they are played at the end of their turn if they played nothing to counter.
The Psionic Blasts are very nice since they burn away the big creatures and can shoot for the kill.
And the sideboard is to make aggro and blue control decks an easier win.
@Chimps decklist: The stonewood are much much better than Might of Oaks, since it can't be countered and protects your creature from spot kill (which in a term could be a counterspell with some phat on it). I don't think having both the ledgewalkers and the sophisticates in the deck are needed. I would cut out the sophisticates and put in some Psionic Blasts and it will start to look more solid. Another option could be to cut out 1 giant growth, 1 might of oaks/stonewood, and 1 cloak to put in some kind of card drawer, like whispers of the muse/think twice/compulsive research. Just to give you a rebound off of a wrath that could get through.
@Angel:I think the visions is to slow for this kind of deck. It's only useful early game. If you draw it after turn 6 then the game might as well be over.

Take a Walk on Board Walk.
(are these the right colors ^?)
If the growths get cut, then Ledgewalker definitely goes with them, and Psionic Blast does work much better than Growth in most functions so I guess those will get cut when I can get some more Psi-blasts. I think your right about the Stonewoods. Thanks.
-4 Giant Growth
-4 Silhana Ledgewalker
-3 Might of Oaks
+4 Psionic Blast
+4 Plaxmanta
+3 Stonewood Invocation
I'm sort of counting on the Vipers for card advantage and Compulsives will probably hold their place until I can get some.
kolorblindd, can you support the snakes on only 20 lands? Also a minor tweak, in this deck Mana Leak is slightly better than Rune Snag usually IMO, since without significant card draw or intentions for a long game this deck is less likely than most to draw multiple.

remand is wrong. rune snag is a better choice also maybe 2 spell snares
True Mana Leak may seem like a better choice, but I prefer Rune Snag due to the chance of a long game. umm..well there was a typo my deck runs 21 lands...but i typed in 20 And I still have to test this deck, unfortunately. I assumed the snake can be held with 21 lands due that it is the only 4 mana cost spell maindeck. and for your deck you have the stonewood. 4/60 cards that cost 4 mana means the chance of you getting them early game is going to be pretty rare.
@Lunan: Your comment really didn't help this thread at all. Remand is not wrong, for it lets you set yourself up for another counter and it adds a card advantage element to the deck.

you have card advantage with the viper, rune snag as the effect of being a hard counter as oppsed to just slowing the game down, while 1 turn can be effective i feel the spell goign to the graveyard is much more effective, espically in a fish style deck, oh and i forgot to mention that i agree psionic blast NEEDS to be in this deck
