As the name suggests, this is a red, white, and blue deck. It focuses on burning away any threats and smacking you upside the head with a few fliers. Mana Leak and Faith's Fetters provide additional "removal" for what the burn can't handle. There's also enough burn to go to the dome if the few fliers aren't quite cutting it. Other than the lands, it's practically rareless, and other than the Faith's Fetters the mana curve tops out at :3mana:. Enough of the overview, here's the deck:
A few other notes. When Dissention comes out, I'll probably remove the painlands and run 4 of each Noodle. I want to hear thoughts on Remand vs Mana Leak. Twice I've tied the game with a Char. The minor lifegain theme from Lightning Helix and Faith's Fetters is unbelieveably helpful - I won one game at 32 life. And finally, I'm not much of a player, but I can't wait until The Azorious Senate shows up to see what it brings this deck. Thoughts, please
What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
It's not card advantage or disadvantage. 1 for 1. It just happens to gives you a tempo advantage. Not card advantage. Two different things. I woudl run it over volcanic hammer since you already have char, electrolyze, and helix, not to mention fetters. you need more spell "solutions". Particularly helpful against heartbeat combo, not that that's played a lot.

Remand is good with Mana Leak or another counter. It stalls creating tempo and allowing you to lay another land to play a hard counter or to draw into an answer. In this kind of deck leak would be much better as its actually an answer, not a stall to an answer that isnt there.
So far taking out the Hammers for Remands has done nothing for me. Usually, I'd rather have the Hammers. Sometimes either would've done just as well. Also depends a bit on which deck I'm facing, but so far I'll stick with the hammers. As for NotDH, it doesn't really have the support to use its ninjutsu, but seeing as I have more than enough removal for blockers, it's somthing I'll give a try.

It will probably see a lot more play now that it t8ed at the PT.
But why not run Ninja of the Deep Hours? You already have blue in here, and it willg ive you some pretty good card advantage.
Mana Leak > Remand.
