i didnt mean to impose anything
dont take me wrong
anyway
at the moment i cant get 4 tombs adn only have 1 tomb adn 1 waste so splashing with those is just stupid
but i agree that it must be done(i just cant do it right now)
another thing is the i kill every creautre they play even before it is equiped
but yes natrualize would help against ivory mask
about arena as u can see my build thrives on it because i drop my hand fast adn then late game deal the last points of damage with consume(love this card)
about black mail i really think it doesnt work well enough unless u get it 6turn and cant play kok puffs but on the other hand not many people have cards 6 turns later, ehh
try sb on them and us them against control, personally i use cranial and eradicate against a lot of control
(it is son fun eradicating a meloku using boseijo-aka game over)
anyway i will post my current sb
3 shred memory
3 cranial
1 boseijo
2 NOSB
2 Defense grid
1 Ink eyes
2 eradicate
what do u think.....?

Honestly, blackmail is a much better 3rd turn play that 6th turn. They still might have more than 3 cards in there hand but they don't really have more than 5. Also I really like blackmail cause I can get rid of there next land drop.
I ran MBC last FNM and did pretty good until I ran into some hellacious mana screwage.
Match 1: (WWr Rush) [Won 2-0]
creature based deck did not have a chance.
Match 2: (G/W Enchantress) [Won 2-1]
even when he dropped the CoP:Black, Kok's did the job. Game one he got off a Verduran with 2 blanchwoods before I could get off the ground. Two and Three Kok's sacced to Miren did the job.
Match 3: (U/B Aggro) [Won 2-1]
My hypnos lasted longer on the board than his. I drew more cards than him.
Match 4 (Fungus Fire) [Lost 1-2]
Game 1 lasted 40 minutes, I win after NoSB & 3 Consume spirits for the win.
Game 2 mulled to 3 conceded.
Game 3 mulled to 5 got stomped when I could not get past 2 land for 6 turns.
Match 5 (Rock) [Lost 1-2]
Mana screwed games 1 (mulled to 6 with 2 land) and 3 (5 with 1 land + top). stalled at 2 with a top on the board.
Game 2 I whooped up on him with Persecute and Cranial.
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
- Corinthians 13:11
"When I became wise, I leanred the value of childish things and turned to them once more" - bladesjester
It was really weird, game one he finally beat me but it took him forever.
Game 2: Naturalizes come in with more discard and I win on the back of Kokusho and Consume Spirit.
Game 3: Turn for Persecute = I win. Again kukusho is good here but I think Hypspec. did most of the ground work along with Shortfang.
2nd Round:
Reniamator:
1st game: Easy, I he had reanimte spells without targets so i win with discard and creatures.
2nd game he went for a transformation sideboard. He lost to a flipped Nezume short fang.
3rd round.
Critical Mass
he gets down a vine lasher kudzu and a kiega and my deck pretends to not have any removal in it.
2nd game, there was an issue with life. Meaning neiter of us was keeping accurate account of it. I win this one and the next one easily, but I give him the game because if he would of kept track he would of won, and so I take the moral road, plus it is only fnm who cares.
4th round.
Heartbeat of Spring.
I win both easily thanks to hyp. spec and removal.
I am in top 4, yes.
Semi final
Enduring Ideal.deq, different player better deck.
This deck focuses totally on the combo and not control. He wins both games. sigh.

Pride is the in-ability to here your friends offer you sound advice.
why the **** is this thread in decks for critique, friday again i got 1PLACE in an hard inviroment adn think this deck is tier 1
PLEASE explain why it has been moved, because i really cant see glare or any other bad deck being better than this
First off, this post is spam. But I'm not going to warn you for it (this time). The reason? Read the announcement in the Competitive Forum. Basically, any deck without the [Official] Tag was moved... I'm going to change the title in here to indicate that it was moved from Competitive (as I didn't realize it was moved either).
Okay, sorry, i had not read it yet. My mistake!
Anyway that made me feel like **** because this deck has gotten my first place on average 3/4 time i have used it against an enviroment contaning 1 of everything. Hope we find a way to get this deck running again and i will do my best to prove just how powerfull this deck is.
ps. this deck after much testing is a lot better than Rock
So yeah, I was looking at the Standard Guide in the competitive forum. If I'm not mistaken we have a very good Matchup against the Tier 1 decks and a fairly decent match up against tier 1.5 decks.
Am I just mistaken? Or do I just get lucky when I play those 2.
As the MODs noted, only official results are being taken into account now, and results that can be confirmed.
For instance, in the Emminent Domain thread, me and a handful of other members are submitting test results against all Tier 1 decks (15 games, 5 pre-sideboard) and then moving on to other decks. So far, we've tested vs. Kudzo Gro (critical mass) and Mono Blue Control. I'm not testing vs. Greater Good (it officially placed well) and then Gifts. Try a similar approach and good luck! I really hope MBC comes strong, maybe with a vicious spell from Orzhov...

4 Hypnotic Specter
2 Dark Confidant
2 Phyrexian Arena
2 Persecute
1 Cranial Extraction
2 Night of Souls Betrayal
4 Last Gasp
2 Diabolic Tutor
2 Cruel Edict
4 Consume Spirit
3 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Journeyer's Kite
3 Quicksand
21 Swamp
2 Cranial Extraction
1 Persecute
2 Defense Grid
4 Nezumi Shortfang
3 Hideous Laughter
3 Pithing Needle
Despite all of the high cost cards the Confidant works quite well, especially with a top on the board.
