Drop the Curse for Far/Away, add some counters and removal and you have the makings of a pretty good list.
Curse is a trap we should not be falling for imo. As for the numbers I can't agree that Omen is a auto 4 of just yet, but if red based aggro comes out of rotation swinging, she just might have to be.

Brilliant ideas are stupid ideas that worked - Patrick Chapin
Curse is absolutely terrible.
Its just like Rapid Hybridization - everyone thinks they can deal with a 3/3 so easily, but it's still card disadvantage, and you just tapped out to play the spell and now a bunch of 2/2s are coming at you.
If my opponent has, say, an Experiment One, Voice of Resurgence, and Boros Reckoner and I cast this, I'm still taking 6 the next turn... for 5 mana... and a card... and that is actually a good scenario for it, since it involves creatures with resilience that are bigger than the 2/2s.
However, curse has the benefit of clearing away god cards as well. And i dunno about you but id rather have 3 2/2 boars to block than a reckoner that can hit me for whatever I block it with, and a voice which can trade and still end with a creature. It might not be an auto 2-3 of in every deck, but id sure as hell run 1 main board to deal with larger threats late game.
