In the sideboard there can be more spells that you can side in, maybe turn your deck into a RG aggro deck instead.
Seriously though, if you cast this from a deck without a single non-permanent, you mill yourself and lose. Maniac makes that awesome. I love this card.

Yeah I suppose a 1 or 2 of Maniac could be useful as a back up option.
I think this card is better played in WRR SB as an ultimate trump against mirror and reanimator. And something tells me WRR mirrors will be all we play in the near future.
If you want to specifically build for this, I'd try Conley BG ramp with rune-scarred demons to tutor and black creatures like fume spitter or skinrender in place of removal.

Maybe, although the reason Red is good is because of Hellrider and Lightning Mauler, which can kill your opponent before your next draw step.
There's not much in black that can stop you from dyeing or defeating your opponent before your next turn.
Make it jund colored and have black bombs as you only need a splash really and there are enough dual lands/ color fixing in green that you can cast them and tutor for your spell. Seems like the best plan imo.
Craterhoof Behemoth is a musthave for this deck. No reason not to have him in, as everything that hits the board is coming in for stupid amounts with trample. (And if Urabrask is there everything has haste as well)
There's a problem. You're racing other ramp decks, but they are going for six (Prime Time) rather than 10. Terminus, the new Hallowed Burial type miracle, really ruins this deck's day.
Sounds like an incredibly fun idea, but no way your opponent lets you hit ten mana.

That would be true if it wasn't for the fact that we're hopefully gonna win on the turn we cast Primal Surge, so Terminus aint a problem.
And we're also racing to Primeval Titan, as soon as we've got him it won't be long till we've got 10 mana easily, also it's not as if we can't win without Primal Surge.

So what do you think?
Also, this deck needs recursion. If you blow your load and get board wiped, you're boned. A Living Death effect seems key.
[edit] Wait, wait - in a deck like the OP's without a single non-permanent card, isn't playing Primal Surge an insta-lose?
Unless, of course, you toss a few Laboratory Maniacs in there
Yeah but when a load of creatures hit the floor, with Urabrask and Hellrider, I think you're probably dead before you get the chance.
A land is a permanent isn't it?
Everything comes out until you exile the second Primal Surge.

You can stop any time you want. It's in the card's text.
Include two laboratory maniac, two consecrated sphinx.
Pass turn.

Ah ok, that's better. So just wait till you got Urabrask and Hellrider out
Boom. I literally don't know why you'd do anything else.
Mikaeus the Unhallowed prevents wrath effects
Massacre wurm in multiples may just kill them on the spot
I meant from milling yourself, but then realised the ability was a 'may'.
This just gets better and better
Wow, yeah, that might be good as a 1 of.

What about a bunch of milling cards like Mulch and then dumb setups like Noxious Revival into Galvanoth THIS DECK ENCOURAGES TERRIBLE THINKING
