So I sold all my tempered steel pieces to build RDW. And here is a list that I'm working on:



Ratchet bomb-tokens
Perilous Myr-mirror
GftT-Titans, tree of redemption
Manabarbs-control, wolf run
Wurmcoil-the cameo (could swap for batterskull or a sword)

I know, sideboard is a bit rough and people might find BLACK as a splash color unnecessary, it's just that it's so hard to kill that effing tree(not to mention the sphinxes flying around), hence I go for the throat!

I'm playing around with Gitaxian Probe, lets me refuel and lowers the lifegain opportunities of timely reinforcement.
Thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

Having no first-person experience with RDW in my 11 years of on-and-off playing in Standard, I brought this deck to 4th place at my first FNM in years:

What I still want to test: 4 Gut Shot MD instead of Shock. Coming in two weeks.
Reasons:
Singleton Kessig Wolf Run: Something to do with Rootbound Crag if I happen to pull one. I've won games with it so I don't want to change it.
Ghost Quarter: Meta has a lot of Inkmoth, and I don't feel like wasting SB slots on another Grudge. Also good against Moorland Haunt, which is prevalent.
Combust: Hero of Bladehold. Pure card hate.
Goblin Fireslinger: It's another way to get turn 2 Berserker.
Singleton Incinerate and Brimstone Volley: If I'm not playing against tokens or small drops.
Rootbound Crag vs. Copperline Gorge: Money, I have none.

Here is my list

Pre-rotation my RDW rocked hard, but after losing staggershock, searing blaze and such I kinda shelved it due to not feeling I could fix it. Well I believe I have and testing lately I have had good results. Only thing is I am wondering if perhaps I should scrap the 2 Kruin's for more burn or perhaps moving Past in Flames to the maindeck?

This decks been treating me so well, it originally started as Yakusoku's No chase-rare RDW, but I modified it with non-budget cards and made it better.



I want to get 1 more Koth of the Hammer and Chandra's Pheonix, I've just been having trouble getting my hands on them.

I really need more tech against Dungrove Elder and Tree of Redemption, and Mono Black infect gives me a LOT of trouble. But with most other decks I have encountered, I don't have too much of a problem.

I gotta say, the Nobles and Berserkers along with Volt Charge are tech. If an opponent doesn't deal with them immediately, it's usually GG.

Here is a version I am playing with.
I played the worlds RDW deck last week and noticed that people have started to adapt to the deck. Anyways, I wanted to switch it up a little bit.
