(that in a tezz deck you can actually mainbord 1 or 2).... hello tezzeret control pushing into t1.5 and maybe just maybe....
I thought the card said "when it leaves play" my first though was to make it a 5/5 and exile itself to flash everything back into play... do bad it says die
Reminds me of Grimoire of the Dead, as it's a useless mythic artifact that makes people cry when they find it in a pack.
This is not Grimoire. That stupid book wants you to do something you don't want to do (discard), then it doesn't protect your investment in any way!
Let me describe something pretty normal:
My turn: I play Inferno Titan! Shoot your random dudes for 3. (Yayayaya gonna win and stuff!)
Opponent: "Doom Blade"
Me:
Grimoire has nothing to do with this type of interaction. Absolutely nothing!! Helvault will let your Titan dodge that Doom Blade, how is this bad? If you didn't have Helvault you'd just be down a creature; with it, you get a very good chance to save your creatures!
There are a grand total of 3 cards? That can mess up your Helvault to the point of losing guys. Revoke Existence, Lionin Relic-Warder and Disperse; everything else just resets your position. All sorcery speed, just respond with a trollface and kill it with artifact hate.
My turn: I play Inferno Titan! Shoot your Grave Titan for 3. *Yayayaya gonna win and stuff!*
Opponent: *he is a dumb player* "Doom Blade"
Me: Helvault, le save. Phyrexia's Core, remake Inferno Titan to shoot Grave Titan for 3 more.
So to me it reads "make your opponent question using removal", "turn artifact hate into a combat trick", "get card advantage out of players who use creature removal".
I think this card is very smart. It needs a deck to go with it, but it is a very good card. I can see the Mono-Green stompy thread trying to make use of this. Undying already perpetuates creatures, now you can do it more more!

In order to get this interaction, you need to:
A) Leave open 1 mana with Vault on the table.
B) Play Vault before you cast Titan.
C) You need to have Vault in your deck (which I don't suggest in the slightest)
I feel like the exiled creatures of your opponent should enter the battlefield under your control.
That is what I thought it did. Then I saw "owner's control" and I'm like... :-/:-/
This card blow. With all the exile/bounce going around this thing doesn't become that useful even as colorless removal. If you have to "save your creature" all the time, I wouldn't think that be a good way of winning anyways. Especially this inefficient. And I was actually a FAN of Synod Sanctum with steal effects.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
Helvault will let your Titan dodge that Doom Blade, how is this bad?
It doesn't let your Titan dodge anything, because the Titan goes in the Vault and there is no way to get it out again. What this means is that you have to play one card (Helvault), then keep open one mana to activate it while you play your Titan, and then play another card (Ancient Grudge, Phyrexia's Core, or another Helvault) if you ever want to see your Titan again. So you end up 2-for-1ing yourself to counter the Doom Blade, and spending at least 6 mana. (Sure, you can avoid 2-for-1ing yourself if you use Phyrexia's Core, but then you have Phyrexia's Core in your deck.)
Better just play Turn Aside, or Autumn's Veil. It costs only 1 mana total and doesn't 2-for-1 you.
