That's right. The madness doesn't stop. This is where I'll be posting developments and such for my deck.
At first, I thought this deck was going into the Casual bin. But then I tried it out, and I love it with all my heart and people who play against it hate it with all their hearts. A particularly mean thing to do is Worldslayer into a Sun Titan. Bam! A land back each turn or a Roc Egg & Friends. So, moving on to how to play…
Setting yourself up for the win is good but definitely not needed vs agro. Against agro, you want to let them attack once or twice, let them think that they're doing fine. But they're not. Pyroclasm hurts them, bad. Now not only do they have no creatures, we have a major advantage via Sire, Arsonist, Perilous Myr and Roc Egg. It's really hard to recover from that, and makes the Temp Steel MU great once you add Slagstorm to the mix. It's just really hard to recover from this deck, and if you do you'll get squashed down again. I love that.
I was totally surprised when I found out that, by accident, the colored mana ration between red and white was EXACTLY 50/50. Now that's what I call an easy mana base. On the deck:
When Zendikar rotates out: Put in Clifftop Retreat in place of Arid Mesa.
When M11 rotates out (soon): I'll probably put in two more Sun Titans in place of Magma Phoenix. As of Pyroclasm, I have no idea where to start. Help please?
So, the deck is basically fine with rotation (with the exception of Pyroclasm), which means it's buyable in real life. Not to mention how, excluding the Mesa and counting 4 Sun Titans, costs $30 (former Legacy player here, so this seems pretty amazing to me). Questions? Comments? Call 1-800-IMA-FOOL because you have the wrong number or leave them here.
The second is guaranteed as a T1 deck that is really good, plus its' mana is better. I would choose #2. However, Eminem is correct, comes down to preference. Eminem was not correct, however, for tying Rihanna to the bed and setting the house on fire.
HAHA lOVE THIS DECK. This deck looks so much fun to play. I'm goona try it out right now on online magic.
Ok so the issue with pyroclasm can probably be solved when we see more of innistrad. It will almost definetly be reprinted sometime soon, possibly in innistrad or something similiar like earthquake. May I also suggest tuktuk the explorer Anyway I can't wait to try out this deck

Red just adds so much, you really can't take it out. As for walkers, Elspeth looks good, but not really good enough with Worldslayer. Nothing to replace, either. Walkers aren't worth it here.

I like this deck idea. However IMO roc egg is at BEST sideboard material, there's better creatures for the 3cc slot for this deck. incorporating chandra's phoenix into the deck for example. Also i'm not sold on how relevant worldslayer is to the deck, perhaps some oblivion ring in its place?
Worldslayer is kinda weird…you get it out. They see how it has great synergy with all your creatures, and get really scared. It's a mind game. Anyways…if I wanted Roc Egg in the SB, I would just add two more Tuktuk and two more Arsonist. Roc Egg has been fine so far, another threat and mind game.

Of coarse they get scared, your deck can recover faster from a board wipe than theirs can since your game plan shuts down quick aggro decks completely. The question is, is it a win-more card? and are there cards you can sacrifice to give you a better game vs. more of the field or add more consistency?
The way i see it, worldslayer is 5mana to play, 5 mana to equip bascially time walking yourself for 2 whole turns, weak to your opponents removal (potentially time walking yourself more turns) and the benefit of that is wiping your opponents lands and leaving you with a few weenies.
not to mention if your opponent can land a 6/6 or bigger creature then all of your outs to that are either situational (drawing the right card) or conditional (having the correct 2-3 cards in hand or in play).
The Deck is weak in the mid and late game IMO and will do better with cheaper/easier/broader ways to protect itself.

I think 3-4 of them might help with removing bigger threats, with those numbers you should always see either an O-ring or DoJ in your first 4 or so turns.
That sounds even more win-more, you still have the problem of having to actually connect with worldslayer, you're using your removal which is supposed to help you connect with worldslayer on your own creatures, it'd make more sense if any of the creatures were actually worth more than 1/1 or 2/2 but even then it's still win-more imo. and if you use it on their creatures (like you should) your just helping them out if you keep worldslayer in.

Yeah…I've already tested cutting phoenixes (earlier). The deck runs fine without them, they aren't too vital. Also it helps to have another Titan. So yeah…it's fine. I didn't cut Worldslayer and test that yet, though, but I will soon.
EDIT: Looks like -2 Worldslayer, -2 Phoenix, -1 DoJ cuz it's bad in multiples, and +1 Titan, +4 Oring. But yes 12 is a lil much, works out unless you draw multiples of DoJ. Pyroclasm and Slagstorm are always useful, so that's fine.

i put the tunnelers in there to help get the worldslayer through, if need be. also made the arsonists a 4-or because it seemed to lack 1 drops. it needs a better one, though IMO.
