Guys, long time lurker here, but thought I should get some feedback on a few things:
What about Clone Shell? If we're running a creature heavy deck, we are somewhat guaranteed to get at least 1 creature under the clone shell...and it also helps the pod spit out our big 6 drops (Titan, Wurmcoil, etc).
Also, what of a singleton copy of Brutalizer Exarch? He deals with the problems that Slime can't.
Clone shell can be explosive if you have the right cards on top of the deck but I don't feel like it would most of the time, too unreliable when you have other good options
Necrotic Ooze isn't helpful when you can return all your creatures from your graveyard. And almost none of the pods creatures have any activated ability.
Anyone think 21 lands are too few?(I run 22 but to make a change im thinking about would need to cut 1) how much would it increase my bad hands?

Not sure if we're allowed to discuss the cards being release in M12 but...how about using pod to grab Solemn Simulacrum into a Razor Hippogriff? It seems like it would be absolutely brilliant. Gain 4 life, draw a card and Rampant Growth.
I figured I'd keep track of the results for my GR Pod deck in MTGO, and why not post it here for those who are interested. It's the version of Pod that I've felt the best with, having tried all possible colour combinations. I only recently started keeping track though, but since then it's undefeated (even though it was close a couple times).
They were full matches, going either 2-0 or 2-1 in either direction. Since I plan to collect a lot of data I only record match wins/losses though. It's all from the tournament practice room in MTGO. I plan to play either this or Mono Black in tonights TNM. Will be back with a separate report if I play the deck tonight.
Thanks for the info. Yeah, I like going with matches too over just games since the sb plays a big role imo. It does take longer though and MWS players often quit after g1 lol.
I do most of my testing on MWS and Magic League. Hopefully, I'll be able to get on MTGO soon.
@FruFru you know I'm not doing that, I run more ramp, I've read that article before, however the statistics between my current mana package - 1 land and +2 simmalacrum will not make a darastic difference, I think it adds around 1% more of <2or>4

re: Wall of Omens versus Lone Missionary. This is an interesting point to discuss actually; on one hand, wall of omens can stall aggro more effectively than lone missionary, plus draws a card. However, missionary can proactively neuter Goblin Grenade, which I predict will be all over the place post M12, and he can also trade with an attacker. Testing required.
re: Life combo. I'm having trouble with what to cut for it, and I'm not sure if it's worth it. It does give you an extra out to Splinter Twin, and it also laughs at Valakut, which is nice, although between purges, replicas, and beast within i think we have enough outs versus Twin.

True, but we could sideboard any of them and use them depending on the deck, right?. I would prefer Lone Missionary on Main deck and Wall of Omens on side, what do you think about it?. Btw pekpekkypek, i noticed you're running 6 Viridian Emissary? Lol. 4 main deck and 2 Sideboard? Check your deck list =P
Life combo seems like a good idea, We can fit it in, sure why not?, But that means that we wont have the same amount of answers that we had without it in.
Hehe, the ragequitters happen on MTGO as well. I'm an old veteran returned to the Magic scene less than a year ago, so I don't know what MWS and Magic League is.
But yeah, I think it would be great if we had more people recording their results with their pod variants.. all info helps us and the deck become stronger! ^^
Totally agree.
Thanks everyone who gave their results. I think it adds a lot

Haha those were supposed to be Viridian Corruptors
I went with them over Sylvok Replicas because they had infect. Soul Sisters is surprisingly popular in my meta, as is infect - the reason for 2x Melira in the sb.
I'm playtesting again over the weekend, if I can get my mitts on some Solemn Simulacrums
I took Jund pod to a 24 man tournament tonight and took 11th after making some tweaks. Previously I had problems with games going too long and not being aggressive enough. So I dropped a Llanowar Elf and Sylvok Replica to the sideboard and tossed in Inferno Titan and Abyssal Persecutor.
Match 2: vs I don't even remember and it literally happened 3 hours ago. But it was 2-1.
Match 3: vs Mindcrank/Bloodchief
Game 1: He gets Bloodchief after Mental Misstep hits my opening Birds of Paradise in a one land, one Birds of Paradise, double Sylvan Ranger hand. I lose pretty quickly afterwards.
Game 2: I get to Memoricide before he gets to Mindcrank but since he has a Bloodchief Ascension in play I take out the Mindcranks. He has no red land and cannot get counters on his enchantment. I drop a Pod and pay two life for it giving him a counter. He plays two Tezzeret's Gambit on the following turns. So it's active. I had looked at his hand VERY briefly when I hit Memoricide but failed to notice an Archive Trap. So when I Pod he traps me and I lose. Huge play mistake considering I had an Entomber Exarch in hand.
Match 4: vs UW Control
Despite all efforts to win and hitting Memoricide on most of his threats in game 2 he manages to keep me off any land destruction and Celestial Colonnade me to death.
Match 5: vs really unique GWU Venser Control
Game 1: We had stupidly long games last week (35 minute game 1) so I expect more of the same. Then he pulls out a surprise Emeria Angel that wasn't in the deck last week and Phyrexian Metamorphs it. I lose to a bunch of flying birds.
Game 2: I draw a near perfect hand for this match and tear him apart by turn 6 before he could really stabilize.
Game 3: Pretty typical game start with a Pod on turn 3 that lead in to an Abyssal Persecutor. He Phyrexian Metamorphs my Persecutor and blows up my Pod. I'm pretty confident still as I have a Beast Within in hand and have him at 4. He drops Avenger of Zendikar and I'm forced to blow my Beast Within on it. He still gets like seven tokens and they're 1/2. We play an uneventful set of turns out. I drop Inferno Titan and hit him for 3. On his turn he responds with Venser and makes his creatures unblockable. He shows me Naturlize in hand and it's game.
I was VERY happy with the deck tonight. I am a bit sad that after starting 2-0 it took such a spin but I think this was a huge step in the right direction.
I just have a theoretical question here, am I the only person that thinks that 1 drops are really bad in this deck? If not, please explain why they are good. I mean, Llanowar Elves? Seriously? Even Birds is kinda iffy to me. Doesn't seem to do that much for you. I'm testing a list without 1 drops atm, and it works fairly well...

Are these full matches? And are they in the tournament room or were you playing for booster packs? Thx.
