Have you guys considered running Unified Will in the side over Leak? Assuming the blue splash.
I am running Unified Will over both Spell Pierce and Mana Leak.
Since you are the aggro aggresive deck, you must have more creatures than your opponent. If not, you are far behind and a counterspell wont change the game for you anyway... So far, Im 100% with Unified Will.
With UW, I usually play turn 1 and 2 the explosive way, playing everything I can, but at turn 3 and beyond, I let 2 or 3 untapped mana for removal and/or counters.
Sorry, I know we shouldn't talk about Innistrad in here, but I think we just found our replacement for when Steel Overseer rotates out. Hint, hint... newest preview.

Meh. Doesn't seem that great. Seems WAY too slow for this deck. I'd rather play Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer as my WIN card.
Your right we shouldn't talk about it but yes he is good early or late and pumps all our guys including hero of b tokens. Will definitely have to test as he may be awfully slow
I don't see why you would run TWO non-artifact creatures in an artifact pump deck. Seems like you would be making more of a deck based around that new card. But I agree with the latter part of your statement that it would be awfully slow.
Remind me how we beat anything, again? It's been so long since I won a match online I can't even remember what our good matchups are supposed to be...do we even have any anymore?

Tried Unified Will, never countered a single thing with it, but that might have been variance. I almost never drew it in a game in which it mattered, and when I did, my opponent usually had enough Squadron Hawks in play to blank it.

What do you all think about running a singleton Emrakul?
What would be the idea behind this? It's not consistent with the primary objective of the deck, which is to overwhelm your opponent within the first several turns. I'm highly skeptical that something like Emrakul is even a good backup plan against some sort of sweep, because the deck has nothing to ramp or otherwise accelerate mana production and I don't think there's any serious deck in Standard that's not going to kill us within a few turns of sweeping.

OMG what an amaizing idea, I cant belive we didnt think of that. Because we have no means to ramp nor stall, playing him should be a piece of cake. In fact, why not play progenitus and 4 blight steel collosi too!!!!
EDIT: I think you might have noticed that was obviously a joke :). I am glad more people are using Spined thopter, I think fling trumps FS

I am using Revoke Existence for their Batterskull / Swords. This card is already in my SB for the Mirror Match, so why not bring in to get rid of their equipments
My meta has been pretty heavily tilted towards aggro decks, or Caw-Control. I've been considering trying a red splash for Whipflare and maybe Galvanic Blast instead of Unified Will.
I've been having moderate success with this mono white build, and i'm looking to get it over the top. I do realize some of my problems could be my own mistakes but i want to make sure i'm not making a mistake in my deck building and how i built my sideboard.
The blue splash with maindecked Preordain and SB counters. I've tried the Glint Hawk version and the version that was posted on Starcity Premium last week with maindeck Hero, but neither one was getting anywhere.
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is perfect for this deck. It's a great backup on turn 15 in case we get sweeped. I don't think there's any better recovery than him.
I hope everyone has seen the "Don't feed the trolls" sign...
Anyway, splashing red for a sweeper is totally nuts, maybe i'll try that some day. I changed my origins spellbombs for Tezz gambits and it's wonderful, best card draw you could get plus proliferate, even if that means tapping out.
If you go for red splash 4 Arid Mesa 1 mountain 4 wellspring mox opal should get you the red when you need it pretty well. If your splashing blue then you can use Scalding Tarn also.
I have run the whipflare from the sideboard in steel before. It is relevant against elves and goblins. Those are the only matches where it much mattered. It does not work well with Timely reinforcements however (altho good against this) which I was trying from the SB in steel.
I think the reinforcements may be better vs the RDW matchups than whipflare is. So if your using that the whipflare becomes less relevant. I don't think I would SB both but maybe. Reinforcements is good against elves also but not a overrun.
In any case I think you can run it. I am just not convinced it is the best SB answer for the matchups where it comes in.

I'm also contemplating splashing blue for preordain if that will improve things. But i don't know what to take out for it
Have you considered taking out the Legionnaires and Metamorphs in favor of Glint Hawks and Ornithopters? The first turn Plains/0-drop/Glint Hawk/0-drop is one of the nicer fast openings for mono-white Steel, and Metamorph seems slow.
I ran my monowhite build to a 4-0 finish in a field of 24 at fnm last night. I beat vamps, u/w tempered steel, rdw, and valakut. Marrow shards out of the side really helps against rdw. I'm contemplating the arid mesa/ whipflare splash from the side, as weenie decks like rdw and vamps are prevalent in my meta.

First tournament top 8 11/4/12 at the SCG IQ in Santa Cruz!
I won FNM this week, lost to 1 caw (yay mulls to 4!) beat goblins, rdw, caw, UB, Rock and other stuff I dont remember. Ill try to bring up a report. Kor firewalker is awesome. Mental misstep is also amazing for decks that run hand removal. I used the Mono white build this week in my sig. I went 6-1 overall after top 8/4/finals
also, did anybody else notice there's a forum in competitive? Are we supposed to use it?

What deck are you running?

Not a good idea. If you have FIFTEEN disposable mana and have not won yet, you're not going to.

What for? Are you afraid of losing to mill or something? Cause that's the only time I could see that being good.
