Sorry but i meant hitting 3 just kills them with 27 dmg. Lol yours requires the opponent to have creatures out and if they dont then you have to attempt to swing into them. If you were looking for a scapeshift win, then the diabolist is the closest thing you will get.
I was playing a draft match, and I had a Serra Angel out. I went to swing with it, and by accident made the motion to tap it. The other player untapped it and said:
"I know you want to tap that, but she's a respectable gal with vigilance."

My way FORCES them to have creatures (thanks to Terastodon), then kills them by both damage and land destruction.
I'm not saying mine's better, I just like mine more ^_^.
Besides, allies are seriously frowned upon in my meta, because our local judge is a douche and typically plays in all the events...
Try explaining to him that three allies enter the battlefield and each see three allies, doing three damage each, three times.

lol, that's exactly why I like the Terastodon kill better. Less complex mental math and it's easier to explain. =P
When I make it to my local card shop though, I'm seriously building and testing this deck though. It just looks too fun, and I'll finally get to use all of those elephant tokens I've been saving.
Works relatively well. Mana base still needs work as it's a bit inconsistant at times. Been thinking of using Prophetic Prism to help filter mana. Gives card draw as well.
The extra 'phant and wurm in the sideboard are to help out incase I get smacked by a sword of body and mind and lose out on some of my critters. Elixirs and Kozzy help out with that as well.
Biggest threat to this deck is anything fast, which is why there are 3 fogs mainboard, 1 sideboard, and the 4 elixirs as well. Ratchet Bombs to help against K-red or any other threats.
I still feel like it needs some form of spot removal though...Even a sideboard sweeper like Slagstorm or Pyroclasm would be great against aggro...
I've been playing around with this for like 10 games now...
I do like the wurm (running 3 and 2 tera) but I have noticed one consistency problem: when my opponent decides to memoricide my MassPoly, can't get em into play anymore...
But tbh, matches where they use memoricide should be decks where they don't play much wurm-profit-targets (except the JUNDlike builds that are being tested atm). So alternative sideboard targets vs black decks? Iona? Eldrazi's?
well if you are running into that kind of problem, might is suggest changing gears after a game 1 vs any deck you think might be running memorcide? I suggest running Summoning Traps to dig and get 1 of your big guys and maybe switch the wurm out for something like Sphinx of Jwar Isle or maybe even Frost titan with some counterspell backup, so basically turning it into U/G control.....

I dunno, is running a transformational sideboard that hurts your game against aggro decks really that good of an idea when you can just run stronger permission in the side against memoricide decks? 4x Negate is pretty strong against memoricide, especially while you're still ramping, letting them cast one of their 3x SB cards and just countering it. Having access to 4x Spell Pierce and 4x Negate seems like a stronger plan to me.
Also, @Hollow:
Mana fixing would be helped greatly by running 4x Misty Rainforest in place of 2 Islands and 2 Forests. =)
Edit: Khalni Hydra and Stormtide Leviathan are pretty awesome when it comes to sideboard critters that are also castable, though...
Edit2:
Boooo, the tokens aren't green, making the hydra much worse, lol...
Really the only way i have found to just win in one turn with mass polymorph is to play Hagra Diabolist. If you hit 3 of them its 18 dmg and 4 just becomes overkill.
Can someone explain this math to me? How does this do 27 damage when 3 enter? Shouldn't it do 9?
Nvm. I just figured it out...
Edit- I like the idea of this as scapeshift seems fun also you could mill them out with Halimar Excivator or have some overwhelming fun with Turntimber Ranger
This has been discussed within this topic already, and is definitely more on par with what Mass Polymorph used to be, but the interesting thing about the Terastodon/Wurm build is the ability to kill without attacking. Sure, Leviathan can lock down a manabase, with Iona forcing your opponent to not be able to play spells and letting Emrakul swing the next turn, but it does nothing to board state and it doesn't win the turn it comes into play.
Hahaha, holy smokes. That is an amazing report! =D I like the semi-transformational sideboard. As a rogue deck, surprise is a huge part of winning, and an extra trick up your sleeve has seemed to have great value for you.
You pretty much faced the 4 top tier decks, and won 4-0. I am impressed, and fantastically amazed. Well done =)
I`m so pleased this deck idea has taken off, haha!
I`ll be rocking it tonight at FNM, and then I`m gonna not only bring back in a detailed match report, but I`ll touch up the thread and add decklists, a playguide and everything else I can think of.
Thanks for the support, guys!

Level 1 Judge
Standard: :symu:Control:symw:
Modern: Just about anything that doesn't include Tarmogoyf or Karn
honestly, I would just go for the big three package.
1. emrakul
2. iona
3 stormtide leviathan
Now, 1) you're gonna win 2) they can't play stuff 3) they can't attack.
That's a very good situation to be in.
Actually this with the inclusion of terrestadon is a potential flat out 6 mana win. More often however yeah a emrakul is just as big but I have seen a dozen games lost even after a polymorph. I think what's cool about this deck is it's instant ability to severely cripple an opponents mana base and damage him in the process.
Because of that, I kinda really wanna check this deck out.
I wonder if the red splash allows for Slagstorm or Pyroclasm to deal with the tough aggro matches.
I also wonder if this might be the place for the white praetor as a MP target, my thinking is that if for whatever reason you find yourself in a long game then the awakening zone// brood birthing tokens becoming 2/3s is a pretty good deal.
One final thought is Chimeric Mass as another possible enabler//beater. he's a creature (3/3 or 4/4 easily in this deck) when you need him to be and a non-creature when he's in your deck.
I absoloutely LOVE THE DECK!!! Only thing is that i'm a bit uncomfortable with playing Massacre Worm when I can't play it without using Mass Polymorph.
Just me, but it seems like the proper creature ratio would actually be three Terastodon and two Massacre Wurm making the proper polymorph number 5. This number should be easily attainable with all the token production.
However, I may like the other stupid fat dude package better against most of the field. (Ulamog, Emrakul, Iona) Additionally, Iona naming white prevents a wrath effect (or black if they are UB control).
I really feel as if there should be some countermagic in here, additionally. Memoricide - Mass Polymorph leaves you with no legitimate wincons and absolutely no control aspects to the deck. It feels like some version of a reanimator.
Also, I don't want to be that guy, and this isn't my normal suggestion, but Jace, the Mind Sculptor is very good for this deck, giving you some control, and a way to put down some fatties into your deck that can be shuffled away with any number of the shuffle effects.

The problem with going 3 terrastodons and two wurms is that should you only have 4 morph targets, you can potentially end up with 3 Terrastodons and 1 massacre wurm, which would accomplish nothing, because one wurm can't kill 3/3's.

Now, about the fat package of Iona, Emrakul and Stormtide...
See, that's all well and good, but it doesn't WIN the game. If you wanna WIN like Charlie Sheen WINS, you need to WIN right away. Morphing into two wurms and two terrastodons WINS games, because you do enough direct damage to WIN right away. And what would you rather, WINNING right away, or potentially WINNING on your next turn, while still leaving yourself vulnerable to some come-from-behind nonsense of your opponents?
Hell, a couple tumble magnets would stop you from winning with the fattie package. Cheap removal spells would make it a waste all together =P.
The reason, and I can't stress this enough, we don't rock the fattie package is that we, the Church of Sheen, just want to WIN.
I absoloutely LOVE THE DECK!!! Only thing is that i'm a bit uncomfortable with playing Massacre Worm when I can't play it without using Mass Polymorph.
In that case, I suggest knocking whichever spells you find least useful down to a 3-of (Garruk for one, then whichever your meta demands less for the others) and including a couple of Prophetic Prisms. It's cheap draw power, plus mana cycling, which will allow you to hardcast the Wurm if you really need to.
I really don't recommend doing that, but its totally up to you.
