This build hasn't last a single game to anything I've put in front of it. I need to put it up against Jund and Naya though. Its rofl stomped mirror, rdw, U/W control, and Eldrazi Elves though. I'm not sure if I'm quite happy with the SB but that being worked on. lol
Been playing the following decklist for a while. At the past 3 or 4 FNMs it has finished with either a 4-0, 3-1, or 3-0-1 record. Usually ends up getting me somewhere in the top 4 for the night. The Basilisk Collar and Blade of the Bloodchief have great synergy together.
I have been playing this for a while and seems to be amazing. I have also been playtesting the BR variant with demons in it which i also like. Idk the new set has already spoiled black red vamps with the new deck so we will have to see. but i think that BR vamps will be getting much better very fast. hmmm.

I'm going to go with more of the PT and GP day 2 lists that did well. I think it's overall the best way to go currently, giving you access to all the great cards vampires need. I'm still not 100% on the SB, but I think this will do for now until I get more testing in.
For sideboard choices, it is mostly suited against Jund and Control. My meta has almost zero allies, and the Deathmark and Marsh Casualities are fine for them.
I take Liliana Vess over Sorin Markhov as the Vampire players around here play Doom Blade, Smother, and Disfigure for removal and Kalastria Highborn as a 4-of against Jund instead of Vampire Hexmage. If they do play Hex, she is often on the side and Vess just gives me a better game against anything I knock into topdeck mode.
I highly recommend testing the deck thoroughly before playing it, as the decisions I made for main and board are friendly to my meta and I would otherwise never recommend going under 4 Tendrils.
This thread is for competitive decks only. Your deck is not Grixis Control, as you said yourself. A serious decklist with shroud and counterspells belongs here, not a for fun/casual decklist with bad discard. Sorry, but your princess is in another castle.
