I realize a lot of this forum was about bad Destructive Force decks...RUG (and BUG sorta) are still very competitive viable decks...why would this be taken out of competitive???
Not enough "fan boys" play it so these yahoo's think its a "dead" build even though it still has one of the best winning percentages and continues to out perform other builds.
RUG Control/Ramp still has to prove itself in the new set. Although as far as pre-MBS it was probably the top deck of the format. It takes alot of skill to play it but once you get really familiar with it I don't see why you'd play any other deck for Control. Still, it didn't show up at Indianapolis and it didn't top 8 at Paris, so it's not "competitive" yet, according to two tournaments full of people who probably want to play new cards, and RUG didn't really get any new cards.
