I miss KotR and a lot of the exalted stuff. I do not miss path or oring though as it took a lot of fringe decks and made them suck. Though I DO miss pithing needle, only have hexmage as a reliable PW killer is qq

miss all of it, just wish there had been more time to play around with the cards (got in when zen dropped). But mostly i miss all the stuff that made my GR aggro work, it was a fun deck.

USMC Enlistment Progress: Beat MEPS, just gotta finish school and I'm off to boot camp.
I really feel like Pithing Needle or Oblivion Ring should have been re-printed in M11. The lack of efficient answers to PW has just caused them to become even more expensive and has made Standard pretty degenerate(lately, Jace-based decks have been claiming 5+ of the T8 spots at various 5K events).
At least when it was all Jund, the format was cheap.
It’s like the universe screams in your face, “Do you know what I am? How grand I am? How old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you, compared to me?” And when you know enough science, you can just smile up at the universe and reply, “Dude, I am you.”
But I miss the versatility off the creature base the most... The midrange creature choices were amazing. Dark Bant was probably my fave deck to play back then...
I miss Lord of Extinction. I liked flinging him around late game and now would be a good time to give him trample.

Cult of the Succubi Eating Kitten and Brotherhood of Hamsters - Zombie One/Hulking One - Brotherhood of Hamsters disapproves of Damage on the Stack amputation, the corruption of Mythics, and the "Major changes to Extended" in July 2010. You aborted our cards., but we approve of the Modern format. Even if it doesn't ha ve Carrion Feeder or Caller of the Claw in it.

Oblivion Ring for so many reasons (Khalni Quest, Mimic Vat, Planeswalkers, Luminarch Ascension, WW Quest's equipments and Relic Quest), creatures, etc).
I am not sure why WotC didn't reprint it. After coming back in shards, it seemed like it was going to be a white staple for a while, and I definitely expected to see it in one of the core sets, but it wasn't. They didn't even really give us a good replacement.
TRAGIC
It was way op'd compared to other removal. White shouldn't have an answer that cheap for 'any permanent', f's up balance.

Agony Warp now that UB control doesn't have to deal with GD Great Sable Stag
But also Oblivion Ring and Courier's Capsule one of my favourite things to recur with Sun Titan.

i never understood why W/U control players preferred wall of Omens near the end there...
Knight of the Reliquary, Path to Exile, Noble Hierarch, Bloodbraid Elf, and the only blue card I liked, Tezzeret the Seeker.

How is three mana cheap? And it doesn't work against 'any permanent'.
