After playing various decks with Hero of Precinct One, I just had to make a Bant version. I think the deck could be quite strong. It has many answers in the multi-colored pool. Is it as strong as the Esper version, I'm not sure. This is what I will be starting with. Any criticisms welcome!
I'm sorry but dawnbringer is just bad in the main of any deck right now. I am also cutting sphinx's for chemister's insight. I may be swapping angel of grace for shalai. Trostani is pretty sweet after holding up frilled mystic on T4. She buffs all the tokens while also making 3 more.
You might be right about Lyra, I just haven't had many games where she is a dud. She 100% hoses rakdos and white weenie atm. She might be bad vs U/W control and esper but those builds are really bad vs the aggro that is out atm.
Trostani did do work for me when I played your build, so I maybe have been premature about that one. I ran 8 games and beat golgari 3 times pretty handily. All token deaths on them after they removed the main threats. I did lose to enigma drake. I just could get it off the field.
I took out angel of grace for the hydroid krasis and i'm happy with that.
What about the shanna, sisay's legacy as a one or two of?
I've been playing this list (or some tweak of it) on Arena for a few days now and think it has huge potential.
I opted to cut the power of a maindeck angels package in favor of going more all-in on the tokens strategy, and so far it has paid-off nicely. If you can land an unanswered Hero things swing in your favor very quickly, and if it is removed the deck will recover VERY quickly.
Deputy of Detention has been a real all-star in this Krasis/WR-dominated meta, and its been rare that I havent been happy to toss one out. The other surprise all-star has been Unbreakable Formation. It is, at worst, sweeper protection, and at best a huge pump and free swing. I am considering adding one more to the maindeck.

I played it at fnm and got really bad luck. The deck felt solid when I had a nice opening hand, but really bad if I didn't have hero. I'm thinking maybe emmara or something else in the 2 drop slot is needed.
I like both. Depends if you want a body on the board
I've tried Militia Bugler in other Hero builds, and at 3 mana it's just too slow. Since your cheapest valid target is 2 mana, you won't be able to double spell off of Militia Bugler until at least turn 5, and that's if you make all of your land drops. And since he's mono-colored, you're giving up the synergy with Hero of Precinct One. If you just want a body on board, you're better off with a free 1/1 than a 3 mana 2/3 that sometimes replaces itself.
I dropped it, but I feel I was going too hard on the hero aspect. I believe a tempo/midrange deck is best. Maybe something like Applied biomancy could get it to where ti needs to be. The w/r version with heroic reinforcements could be sweet even splashing blue.
