Hey everyone, I have just recently got back into playing Magic, I was running a Golgari Midrange deck that I had help building before Allegiance, and now I am trying to build it into a Jund Midrange deck for after Allegiance is released. This is what I have come up with so far:
The plan is basically to play the Branchwalkers and Growth-Chambers early and buff them with explore and Adapt and use the removal to limit the opponents side of the board, and late game use Domri to give Riot to Carnage, Doom and Phoenix to end the game.
If the opponent does kill Domri, Vivien or Vraska I have the Eldest Reborns to bring them back, and I have Find // Finality to bring back the Carnages and Doom Whisperers.
With this being my first attempt at building a deck I want to get this right, so if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
domri is a little awkward here. rarely will you ult him and he only serves a purpose here of being a 4 mana mana dork.
phoniex and tyrant are fine on there own and dont need haste or a counter to make them better.
vivien is fine just because she can net you a land as well.
personally I'd either up your creature count or take the domris our for removal.
the trade off you could have is trade three removal spells for chupacabras to keep domri and maybe switch some of your spells around.
eldest reborn is fine but it's just slow and doesn't do much against the inc control decks and the boss slightly burn deck that is coming and your be better off just turning them into more dudes or better removal.
in the board is fine against mirrors, slower aggro decks, or tapout control decks.
also you should really consider cindervines a 3-4 of in the board. any control deck is gonna hate that card. ubx decks cause they play rebound and disinformation campaign. jeskai, bant, esper all play some enchantment removal or some form of enchantments and so it takes them as well.
the bonus side is they have to deal with it quick or they can be put in a bad spot quick.
the biggest reason for it is Nexus. it will be a tier deck again and you need answers to reclamation. also helps push damage through fogs and when they cast multiple draw spells to dig for reclamation, teferi, or nexus.
I think we really need to get our moneys worth out of adding red or else we'll just be a jankier version of golgari, but I don't think Domri is the answer. I'm going to be playing around with some skarrgan hellkites and cut some of the other stuff like branchwalkers.
In response to the Domri hate, I've tried it as much as I'd possibly want to, and Rhythm of the Wild ALWAYS feels better than a Domri. Food for thought.

domri doesnt want to build under 26-27 creatures.
I'm most likely gonna go with a aggresive midrange build that's similar to monsters but less ramp and more early pressure.
the deck still grind like midrange with Guardian, Domri, phoniex, and midnight reapers.
here is What I got
4 Pelt Collector
4 Zhur-taa Goblin
4 Growth-Chamber Guardian
4 Grull Spellbreaker
2 Midnight Reaper
4 Rekindling Phoniex
2 Skarrgan Hellkite
2 Carnage Tyrant
1 Ravager Wurm
3 Domri, Chaos Bringer
4 Stomping Ground
4 Blood Crypt
4 Overgrown Tomb
4 Rootbound Crag
4 Dragonskull Summit
1 Woodland Cemetery
1 Forest
1 Mountain
3 Theater of Horrors
2 Rythm of the Wilds
2 Assassin's Trophy
1 Lava Coil
3 Fiery Cannonade
I bounce between hellkite and whisperer.
both are good in here but are kinda meta dependent.
