So I saw this wacky list in one of the MTGO 5-0 decklist dumps. I had most of the cards and it looked fun, so I built it. I took it to Friday Standard. I went 4-1, beating Boros Aggro, GB Midrange, Gb Stompy and GW Tokens before losing to GW Tokens in the final. I figured it was a fluke, but I just took it out to Wednesday Standard and won out with a 3-0 against Jeskai Control, Jeskai Control and Izzet Spells. It looks clunky, but it plays as being inconsistent. Your opponents have no idea what you will play next, and neither do you. It's quite fun, and apparently pretty good.
Yeah, it's been surprisingly good. I took it out once more, going 3-1 with the bye. I beat Gruul dinosaurs and Gb Stompy, while losing to GW Tokens.
I have had two games where I couldn't access U, one of which I would have been able to get U if there was an island to fetch from Assassin's Trophy. I even won one of the games in which I couldn't access U.
why isnt this deck still not represented aswell as boros so far i have yet to have mana issues.
Because no-one was really interested in splashing blue to get teferi. Also most of those decks were setup to beat golgari. Deck tries to be the better of Boros/Selesnya angels variants. The question is, is it necessary to splash blue.

"To keep things 100, anything I state is an opinion and not intended to be a fact. Any and all suggestions I give are a 100% opinion. If you need further clarification take the conversation to a PM. I am not in the business of assuming things. I'm only interested in 1 business and that business serves 2 things, Cold L's and Hot Dub's."

Hmm. Confession time. I saw this deck among the MTGO 5-0s and I had the cards. It was the only Teferi deck I had seen with only two and I haven't felt the desire to pick up any more at current prices. It used some cards that seemed powerful: History, Rekindling Phoenix and Teferi.
That said, in playing it, I have discovered some unexpected lines. The early pressure sets up Banefire finishes nicely. Teferi hasn't been a finisher as much as a value engine. The array of resilient attackers make decent blockers if needed to protect Teferi. The light touch of permission gives people pause. Further, nobody expects this, which gives significant benefits.
I would say that the relevant question is, "Does this give me an enjoyable experience and the best win percentage against the expected field?"
For 700 dollars paper, I would hope the deck does well lol. That’s silly for standard.
I like it though and have the cards to build it. Gonna try it out, but I’m not sure about the vanguards. I feel like main deck tocatli honor guards would be better.
Another MTGO 5-0 deck dump sighting in the hands of bubbel. Tocatli Honor Guard maindeck seems like a good choice in a heavy Golgari world. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/1503085#paper

Per mtggoldfish, small sample size caveats applying, the archetype did well enough.
