So a buddy of mine built a deck he called Jeskai black, which was a pretty powerful 4 color control deck for last friday's FNM. He completely housed my Jeskai build as he had access to Duress and Chromium, the Mutable and I was thinking of trying it out, but with a different splash. This gives me access to Assassin's Trophy , Carnage Tyrant , Vraska, Relic Seeker and Root Snare for aggro match ups.
I may need to tune the manabase a bit better. or cut a few things for fixing.
I like 4 color control. I think about building Grixis-green or Sultai-white soon.
I'd suggest the following changes: Noone needs 2 Chromium, the Mutable.
Also, I don't like March of the Multitudes in a (nearly) creatureless deck... ...for 6-7 mana you can get Chromium or Carnage Tyrant... ...or 3-4 tokens.
2 Mission Briefing will be hard in a 4 color deck.
I'd add a Search of Azcanta.
I don't like Discovery//Dispersal, but that is a personal taste. The card never felt like doing much for me.
I'd add Thought Erasure. You don't have much to do in turn 2 anyway and it hugely boosts your matchup against control.
I'd play less creatures, more planeswalkers, a 3rd Ritual of Soot and at least 1 The Eldest Reborn in MB. Probably 2, since I don't see anything else to get rid of Carnage Tyrant.
I didn't run thought erasure as having a U/B in the first two turns can be difficult.
the 2 mission briefing are there for the ability to late game cast something in which more than 2 blue sources is definitely feasible, but I probably won't be using it for another blue card.
March is just a fun Idea I tossed in as I haven't play tested this yet and will most likely be tossed.
Discover/dispersal is for mana fixing mostly, but it has come in handy in the late game for things like carnage tyrant.
I don't think 4 sweepers main is needed. as I already have 2 soot and a scriptures
